When I picked up the Harry Potter books I was fascinated with the minor characters, the ones mentioned briefly. What were their stories, what happened to them post-Hogwarts? The trio was interesting, but I found myself wondering what about the others? What did they do? So I began to write fics about them and what happened.

For me the most interesting character in the Buffyverse is Willow. I like earlier Willow where she relied on her intelligence to get her out of situations more than later season Willow where she just flicked her arm and the bad guy was dispatched. But she is the character that has grown the most and not necessarily for the good. She incorporates the shades of grey in all of us and I found I wondered what made her tick? Why did she change the most, so I wrote fics exploring her character.
