Author has written 4 stories for Dragon Age, and Elder Scroll series. I've made up stories my whole life. Some were shared with friends at sleepovers, others remained in my imagination. It wasn't until around 2009 that I finally had the time to put down in bytes the stories that were running around in my brain. It was odd that video games, in particular, Dragon Age Awakening was to rekindle my desire to bring into reality the people who walk around in my head. Seer is my homage to one of David Gaider's best characters, Nathaniel Howe. (Why Bioware thought it was a better idea to make a Religious Nate clone in Sebastian, I'll never know. Nathaniel's concept was much better.)AUTHOR'S NOTE: THIS IS THE EARLY VERSION OF THIS STORY. AN UPDATED VERSION CAN BE FOUND ON AN ARCHIVE OF OUR OWN. In the Tent and The Murder of Hawke's Mother and What Came After come under the category of things I wish the characters could have said during the game. In the Meadowlands of Home are Lyrics I wrote to Jeremy Soule's incredibly beautiful and yearning song, From Past to Present used in the Bethesda Game, Skyrim. The music haunted me for weeks until I was able to put into words what the music made me see in my head. I've written a contemporary novel Gamer Girl as a tribute to Video Games and how much I love them (Fair Warning: it's a steamy romance). It's published on Amazon in the Kindle Edition under my moniker Carmen Willow. If you are interested check it out. I have now published my second book on Amazon, my Historical Novel titled The Vienna Affair: The Adventures of the Viscount Violinist. http:///The-Vienna-Affair-Adventures-Violinist-ebook/dp/B00KIVANBW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1401624377&sr=8-1&keywords=TheViennaAffair Since we are expecting Dragon Age: Inquisition this year, I hope that, once I know what Thedas is going to be like, I can continue Nathaniel's and Angharad's tale and see where their world takes them. |
