Eureka, specifically the relationship between Jo Lupo and Zane Donovan, has been the first thing to ever make me want to write fanfiction.

One of them is a physicist and engineer. The other works in security and is a former military bad-ass.

One of them grew up taking dance lessons. The other grew up getting into trouble and watching science fiction with his mom.

One of them played with telescopes and chemistry kits and wrote papers on relativity and space-time. The other played with GI Joes and nerf guns and knows nearly everything there is to know about every gun made since the Civil War.

When they first met, she thought he was an obnoxious troublemaker. He thought she was a goody-two-shoes.

But they made it work.

No, I'm not talking about Jo and Zane. I'm talking about my husband and I. Happily married for 7 years, and expecting our first child in four months.

Maybe that's why they've inspired me. :)

Anyway, I mostly write episode tags and missing scenes, as they're what seems to inspire me most.

Edit (11/06/2011): Just a fair warning... I am now in my 7th month of pregnancy, the holidays are approaching, and the baby will be here mid-January. In other words, life is just REALLY busy. And I don't see it letting up any time soon. I do plan on continuing "Lost and Found" over the break between seasons, but I cannot promise quick updates. Thanks for understanding! And the reviews certainly help with motivation. :)
