Author has written 19 stories for Walking Dead. Started writing fan fic as a challenge and have sincewritten several stories and one-shots. Lots of intermittent writer's block...so sorry for the unfinished stories. Life moves on, you grown up, tastes change, etc. It's been years since I've posted anything and probably won't again, especially since TWD as turned into The Negan Show and looks to be ending. I also had an unsettling experience with a fan here, so that's made me somewhat leery. I prefer fan fiction that takes the reader someplace new and adding plot twists and turns, not just playing off cannon. These are not stories for kids, gang. I'm old enough to be your grandmother, and I will turn you over my knee if I find out you're not at least 18. Seriously. These are adult-themed situations and descriptions of grown-up behavior. Enough said. Reviews are super-important in FF and I live for the comments when a new chapter is put up. I want to hear the good and bad, what you think, what you liked, what you didn't. As a writer, I think if there are no reviews, we have a tendency to not want to continue because we think no one is liking what we're writing. Please if you're going to alert or favorite, leave a review. So far I've only written Walking Dead ff. Maybe some day I'll learn to write in an Irish accent and try my hand at Boondock Saints, but there's so much good writing that's been done with them before and well, just SO MUCH period, that it's kinda' intimidating. So, watch for the BDS lines stuck in here and there. You never know when they'll show up. They say to stick with what you know. That would be rednecks. I have always lived in an amongst them, so it's easy to write Daryl and Merle, my two favorites. Yes, I'm a Rookerholic and a Vixen. So yeah, let's talk about that slash. Slash is, as I once told someone, Tae-Bo for my writing. It hurts like hell the morning afterward but it makes me stronger. I know it's yucky for some to think of Daryl with Glenn or Rick with Shane but taking a writer out of their comfort zone is good because then they can grow and get better. So please, keep an open mind and look past the subject matter to the technicality of the writing. It's not for everybody's taste but if you read it and you think it's well written, at least say THAT! |
