coughcoughcough the last time I updated this was in 2015, leaving in all the 2011 stuff, so I figure better update again

o/ Hi! I'm Kyra, and thanks for coming to my author page! XD I know there's a lot of works out there so, honestly, thank you for coming to check mine out and I hope you'll find something you like! ;n; please excuse the bursts of updates followed by rather few updates - I'm a high school teacher doing a masters program in my spare time, which makes actual spare time kinda... ridiculously short and random. You can expect bursts of activity around holidays (@-@ unless travelling), somewhere around mid october and again around mid march, and during the summer!

Multi-chapter Stories:

Cardinal King: My first completed work! Started out as a silly mirroring of the first episode/manga act of Sailor Moon but instead with Mamoru as the hero and cat-sized Helios in place of Luna, but then just kinda bloomed from there! Every chapter up until chapter 12 very closely mirrors the manga with the Shitennou being introduced in the original senshi order (Zoisite for Mercury, Jadeite for Mars, Nephrite for Jupiter and Kunzite for Venus (with a fairy-sized Beryl for Artemis)) and the Senshi fighting them in the original Shitennou order, but there are a couple of change-ups in there that lead to some D friendly issues, mwahahahahhaa and then after chapter 12 there are some homages back to the source material, but it doesn't so closely follow.

The first 20 chapters are the actual story; the chapters following are actually a collection of one-shots that take place during the first arc but are told from perspectives other than Mamoru's. Some are set in the Silver(Golden) Millennium to explain motives or show quick scenes and interactions between characters (I swear a Kunzite and Venus one is planned XD), some are set within the arc but from the Senshi's perspective during key times (before, during, after, etc.), and some are from the perspectives of other Shitennou during decisions made without Mamoru's knowledge or when he was not present. I call them the "Alphabet Series" because I'm making one chapter per letter of the outfit, titling it with one word that starts with that letter, and then only listening to songs that start with that letter when writing it, lmao. PERSNICKETY. The chapters that are currently posted aren't all of them, aren't in a straight ABC order (I think i actually wrote "Z" third, lol), and don't include absolutely all of the scenes I wanted to include in this side-story compilation - it's just whatever struck my fancy between finishing Cardinal King and starting...

Cardinal King: Arc Two: "But what happens next? Do they meet Rini? Is there a Crystal Tokyo?" some readers asked, and my only answer was "Heck if I know, let's find out!" and so I started writing again, lol. "Z is for Zenith" of the alphabet series actually starts off the story, which picks up literally later on that day after defeating the big bad of the first arc ala manga wherein Mamoru runs into a mysterious little stranger that won't stop following him and has some big problems of his own, which, of course, soon become Mamoru's problems as the kid's problems involve shapeshifing dangerous creatures and wanting to find Usagi. Not long after taking the kid in, the "problems" compound into a full blown emergency as the Shitennou are targeted and kidnapped and dark purple crystals are found all over the city.

Arc Two is not a direct mirror of the Black Moon storyline (heeheehee though I do try to make it start out that way), but rather... a weird amalgamation of the Black Moon Arc, the Infinity Arc, and the Dreams Arc, picking and choosing certain themes and challenges and creating an all new set of enemies for the Heavenly Kings to face off against ((using inspiration from an old cult rather than minerals)) with the fate of the world on the line. In this arc the Shitennou get their first power up, too! :O how exciting XD ANYWAY Arc Two will lead right into...

Cardinal King: Arc Three: which is not even written yet, but I've got general plans sketched out for some time-travelling high-stakes shenanigans to save Future Earth! Will this arc be as long as the previous two? Probably not! Unless something entirely weird happens! Which I'm not discounting brain is not real boss, typing fingers is real boss. ... and because idk I have lofty goals I guess -

Cardinal King: Arc Four: which may be like a Stars parallel (cough cough probably not because that is very Senshi focused and the Shitennou are not senshi, but who knows what'll be going on after arc three) or may idk be the END OF THE WORLD EVENT THAT CAUSES THE RISE OF NEW ELYSION, complete with another Shittenou powerup which, yes, i totally already have planned out. .-.

The Jewels of the Moon Kingdom: This was my first ever fanfiction attempt, it was inspired by an amv for "A Mother's Prayer" with the pov of Queen Serenity and idk how that turned into a mushy gushy Endymion-in-love-with-Serenity piece, but it did. It's incomplete as, it being my first fanfiction attempt ever, I didn't know that, for me, writing a chapter way down the line would completely kill motivation to write the between pieces (but it did). I used to think about coming back to it, but right now it's on the way-back burner because I don't even know if my current writing style meshes with my old style and my head is filled with cardinal king, but I am easily swayed by requests during down time so XD maybe?

Serenity's Story: I think this was my second multi-chapter fanfiction attempt? Anyway, it was certainly my most ambitious before CK XD It's the story of how Queen Serenity made it to the Moon Kingdom ((as Nehellenia stated that they were both foreigners to the system)). It's studded with personal headcanons for how the Silver Crystal became what it is and how the Mau and Corvids allied themselves with the Silver Millennium, and then how people from Earth came to live on the Moon and how Queen Serenity got Senshi from dead worlds to serve as guardians for her daughter and their home system, as well as how the daughter of the god of time ended up serving as a senshi and a guardian of the time door. SO THERE. XD
This one isn't finished because I wrote a whole chapter and then got midway through the next one when the flash drive I was using to save everything on literally cracked in half and rewriting stuff I've already written makes me scream so I put it aside "for now" and thought I'd get back to it. ... but then other projects happened so it's still not finished, hahahahaah sorry about that x.x. The only things I had left was actually gathering the senshi, hiding Saturn away (and why) and setting up the Talisman system, pretty much banishing the outer senshi, the birth of her daughter and the visit by Nehellenia and that banishment there - there is a lot of banishment-because-she's-afraid going on XD The final chapter was going to be a time skip to the end of the war when she sent everyone to the future and finally got to rejoin her love in the afterlife~ kinda~ D BUT ANYWAY this is another case of maybe one day, and again, easily swayed by requests to continue, etc.,

Unexpected Awakening: ! There's a parallel story told from another character's POV called "Unexpected Developement" but it's posted on my Tumblr because I don't know how to marry them together here and as both are unfinished I didn't think to add that on here just yet. ANYWAY This is the story of Sailor Cosmos's beginnings! :o oooh, aaah~ mystery~ with a little sci-fi~ It's a coming-of-age story with some romance ;D D and a dark dark ending that never made it to digital paper This was the project I was working on when I started Cardinal King, so @-@ sorry about that. Maybe finish it one daaaaaaay!

Potential Multi-Chapter Stories for the future
Tellus and Sol was originally planned to be a multi-chapter work! I just... am halfway through chapter two and busy so it's not happening quickly, but I've already got the very ending written so /shrug there was a plan and there may one day be a plan again XD

Mars 2062 iiiisn't uploaded on here yet?!?! :o o past me! why you no do?! ANYWAY it's an AU set in the year 2062 on a colony on Mars where Pandora (Serenity~) and Raven (Mars!) are born to Martian scientists/colonists; Pandora is completely obsessed with Earth though and wants to visit one day, but has no idea about the issues Earth is facing until a new military recruit, Aurelius (Endymion~) shows up on Mars, having been sent there by his guardian against his will for his protection. Turns out Earth is under attack! :O By an evil enemy! That sucks energy from people! Oh no! Mysterious for readers, totally. Earth's only hope lies in these three unknown warriors (cough cough cough Venus, Jupiter and Mercury) who are fighting back against the darkness and corruption but are they enough?? NO! THEY TOTALLY NEED PLUCKY, USELESS PANDORA TO HELP THEM OUT! Raven's a fabulous person who can do no wrong and she's totally needed there and she totally needs Pandora along as her assistant so it's settled. Aurelius can come too, she guesses, because he can fly the ship and all.
XD This is one I do want to at least get a second chapter for one day, but who knows~ One Shots!
The rest of what is posted are one-shots or drabbles, mostly products of Guild Challenges from the Galaxy Cauldron Forums, and I hope you like them yaaaaay!
