Thank you for reading my stories and I hope you enjoy them. I must say I had never expected writing stories like these to be such an amazing experience until I found this enchanted world of fanfictions. Do you know how fulfilling it is to have someone on the opposite side of the world echoing your thoughts? Well, that's how I feel every time when I read a review from you.

I also feel extremely fortunate to meet so many new friends through setting out journeys in these fantasy worlds that some may think only exist on paper and in daydreams. I must thank my patient betas Luna de Papel, bluefirefly5, and TMNinjaGinga. You have expanded my understanding of the finer points of the English language, the common theme of humanity, and the power of friendship beyond all boarders.

A fair warning... Prior to the last few chapters of The Past, The Future and The Present, none of my earlier work had been through a beta. The influence of Confucius style grammar unfortunately slipped through from time to time. My sincere apologies...

A little bit about me:

I didn't get to read Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings until I was in my late twenties / early thirties. I grew up reading Romance of the Three Kingdoms (三国演义) and Dream of the Red Chamber (红楼梦), and was completely mesmerized by the writing of Lao She (老舍) and Sanmao (三毛). Those are some very different stories from a very different world. If you recognize those books and writers (从老舍先生所说，写家，而非作家), you may excuse the use of certain phrases in my writing.

I can now say that I have spent half of my life on this opposite end of the world and have been submerged by a language that was once very much foreign to me. Funny though, the more I learn about this language, the less I see the difference between the two. Perhaps in reality, languages are simply vehicles conveying humanity, which is rather similar no matter which part of the world you come from, don't you think?

And if it matters... I'm a happily married thirty some year-old with a sweet little ten-year-old girl. I love animals and think that at some level they are much superior to us all - they probably have all found their Tao and reached their enlightenment long before we know it.
