Hello! I am a University student studying biology and English. I am a beater on my school's qudditch team (no I'm not kidding) and I have also played chaser and snitch. Support your local IQA team! I work in a biochemistry lab on campus. They tell me my work is tedious. I don't tell them I play on my computer while my tests are running. I love pinterest and waste more time on that site than I know what to do with. It is where I found my puppy avatar.

My old avatar was from Be the Match, a great foundation for matching patients in need of stem cells to donors. Donations may be done either via bone marrow or blood. We thought that my friend was going to need a donation after his cancer treatment, but a treatment that wouldn't kill all of his stem cells was found on an experimental basis. When we thought it was the only option, no member of his family was a match, no one in the United States was a match. A stranger in Italy was. I cannot describe the happiness I felt when I heard that a match had been found. I registered to be donor when Be the Match came to my campus. I have not been called yet, and I will probably be a bit afraid when and if the time comes, but I felt like it was what I needed to do. If you are considering it, you must be eighteen or older and in good health. There is more ways to help than to be a donor. Fundraising is always needed to cover the cost of DNA testing, collections, and so on and much for volunteer opportunities.

Like most people, I am writing fanfiction to get feedback on my writing while disposing of rabid plot bunnies that trample over plot lines that are actually publishable. If I can entertain a few people along the way, even better! Your reviews are an essential part of the feedback process, so please take a moment to share any comments you may have. Right now I am experimenting with darker material and emotions, so this is somewhat foreign territory to me. I like reading darker stories, but I am very sentimental about characters and I hate putting them in hot water. Please tell me if my characterizations are believable!
