I've re-joined the merry ranks of fanfic writers after a longer-than-anticipated hiatus. I tend to write fics based on sci-fi shows and movies, with occassional detours into fantasy. I write both gen and adult (and slash) fic. I also seem unable to write a stand-alone story to save my life.

Update: Having recently joined the ranks of the few, the proud, the girl-gamers, expect game-based fics as well!

A note on the story, Realizations in Passing: Many people have written, politely or otherwise, on the subject of the name of Evy's previous incarnation. When I wrote this story, I saw the movie dubbed in another language, with some pretty bad sub-titles (the scrunched-up kind of font where you have to be about an inch from the screen to tell a 'd' from a cl', an 'm' from an 'n'...or in this case, an 'r' from a 't'.). 'Nefertiti' looked and sounded like the right name, and I believed that was the correct name, going from the canon I had access to at the time I wrote the story. So 'Nefertiti' it will stay, for that story.
