Hi, I'm Hiding-In-My-Own-Shadow

If I could use 3 words to describe myself it would be strange, misunderstood and most importantly, a writer. Writing has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. It's the way I get emotions out and creating shocking plot twists and intriguing characters with a raw personality has always been an interest of mine. Writing, a passion that very few people know about. It's something that I try and tell the world about but not everyone believes me. You see, there are always 3 versions of yourself, the way people see you, the way you want people to see you, and most importantly who you really are. The way people see me, emo, depressing, sad, a bit bi-polar, a wiseass, know it all. The way I want people to see me and the way I really am are pretty much the same thing, I want people to see me as smart, outgoing and unique. But, people never seem to get past the fact that I like the color black and listen to rock music. Now, I know what some of you are thinking, damn this girl sounds like a poser and I have to say that I would think the same thing but thats why I don't want to seem emo, I'd seem cliche. There is nothing I hate more than fitting in with everyone else. If you're not unique then you're like everyone else, if you're like everyone else you have no point of view if you have no point of view or opinion that is your own, if you have nothing to offer the world, then I'm sorry but you're useless. I'm not saying that you should go all out and seem like an alien, I'm just saying that you should be who you are and that you should live for yourself and live for no one else. You are your own person, you are in control of who you are, as a human being you are given this right, I hope you make good use of it. Oh by the way, no one has ever seeen any writing I do in my spare time so, I'm not really sure whether I'm very good at writing, if I'm not then please let me know. I love criticism and though compliments are really nice and I like them, criticism makes me feel like it will make me want to improve my writing. I really don't want to be a self-proclaimed writer all my life.
