I started writing fanfiction a while back, but I never published more than a couple of chapters on an account I lost the password for years ago. Now, I blog, and write any number of things, publishable fiction, commentary, you name it. The works you see here, I just write for fun.

If you like what I do for fun, well, that makes me happy.

Most of what I like in a story is interesting premises. I love it when I come across a story that's well written and actually takes the time to analyse why the characters ended up where they are, but I'm generally pretty flexible about what I will read as long as it's well-written, fun, and engaging, though I'm not afraid to say something if there's an aspect of it I think could use improvement. The only things I absolutely will not read are High School AUs and stories that deliberately tear down a character simply because someone doesn't like them in regards to their favored pairings, or stories where characters are so ridiculously OOC that I don't recognize them. I typically stay canon in terms of relationships in my fics unless I have a specific reason (or there is no precedent because two given characters don't interact in canon) and I try to avoid getting into arguments about shipping like the plague. After all, any character has the potential for hidden depths, even if we don't always acknowledge them.
