Oh, blah. 23-year-old lit/language nerd, English major with a Communications minor, getting ready to graduate after 5 long years, but still not ready to leave school yet. If I could afford to be a perpetual student, I would.

I write fanfiction approximately once a year. Ha. I'm unlikely to do anything other than one-shots, and they'll probably all be short and sweet - 1k words or less.

Mostly, I've come to accept that fanfiction is a creative way to express my feelings about certain characters without having to go on a page-long OOC spiel about them. I like that you can do some heavy-hitting on characterization through fanfic, so I'm opening myself up to writing some introspective wordvomit, namely regarding Helen Magnus, from Sanctuary.
