Sherlock would do almost anything to avoid boredom. The drugs were a perfect respite until he had to go through withdrawal. John thought meeting Mycroft was chance and doing regular check-ups on an addict would be good experience. Cue eventual Johnlock.

John's curiosity is triggered by the simplest of the comments: 'Don't be alarmed... it has to do with sex', and Sherlock's quick reply 'Sex doesn't alarm me.' This fanfiction will remain true to the story, using John's blog as reference, might contain some references to the books as well.
