31/12/2019 QUICK UPDATE: The next chapter of New Beginnings is being delayed by a week or two. You may be wondering why, and to that I say I have been going back through the earlier chapters and both fixing and updating them. I am currently working through the Battle of Leonis so have 6 or 7 updated chapters already uploaded. These give a greater insight into the war, Nagala's mindset and the battle are far better (although the overall battles are the same, they are far better reads). The truth is that having graduated university with a BA in English with Creative Writing and an MA in Creative Writing, reading back on the story I saw a lot of problems and plot holes that I am trying to close. I want this story to be as good as, if not better, than Reunions Are A Deleted. Updated Chapter will she update date at the top of the page. Updating them is my priority right now

The story also now incorporates the majority of BSG: Deadlock such as ship classes, as well as The Expanse for some ship classes (modified to fit in with BSG) and Tan.j's Minerva Class Battlestar and Skinfaxi Class Battlestar designs. In addition is the Battle of Helios Delta 6 for the Titan Class Battlestar. On top of this, because I need a strong visual of a character and because I fell in love with these characters, I am including characters from both Black Sails and the Expanse that have been changed slightly to fit in with the story.

As some of you have realised, the New Beginnings universe (Wolfpack, Lions of Leonis) are set in the Stargate universe BUT the true realization of the crossover hasn't happened yet and won't for a long time. I am not officially classing these as Stargate crossovers until they get to that point, at which point I will make a separate story.

The one-shot Battle of Asuras: AU is the basis of the Stargate universe I am thinking of crossing over into although this may change.

2020 Plans

1. Finish updating the New Beginnings chapters by hopefully the first week of january

2. Upload the next chapter for New Beginnings by hopefully the second week of january

3. Start a New Beginnings wiki, with ship designs, characters, locations (and a map of colonial space), battle plans etc

4. Update Wolfpack and Lions of Leonis by fixing any mistakes by hopefully the third week of january

5. Upload the next New Beginnings chapter by hopefully the last week of january

6. In february upload at least one chapter each for New Beginnings, Lions of Leonis and Wolfpack

A little about myself

Well I have a BA and MA (with distinction) in Creative Writing and am currently working three jobs (two starting in 2020) so I havent had a lot of time to write the past few years. I'm also an archery coach and one of the top barebow archers in the North of England. At university for instance I won gold at the northern university championships, set a new record in their league, gained 2nd at BUCS and that's just the tip of the iceberg, I also captained the university team for two years and was the club secretary for another two.

It should also be obvious that I'm a huge Battlestar Galactica (RDM) and Caprica fan, and was let down that Caprica didn't get a second season. While I consider myself a big fan of Stargate (all tv series but mainly Universe) there is a lot that I don't know. Something which also should be evident is that I love The Expanse. In addition the list below represents where my preferences lie (except the star wars sequels which i hate)

New Beginnings will loosely be following the BSG series albeit with differing results and actions taking due to the increased size of the fleet etc. However some episodes will never happen as a consequence. So take the BSG series as a rough roadmap made in the 1990s being used to travel on the roads in 2014 (some roads will be there and others won't be). A lot of events will be changed from having the Graystones along for the ride along with the knowledge that they bring.

Lions of Leonis will be covering the ground war on Leonis after the bombs have fallen and will be seen from a number of vantage points from Field Marshal Montgomery and Queen Alexandria to the boots on the ground Legionaries of Leonis' main fighting force her Legions, as well as certain Cylon perspectives. The story will primarily be focused on the Capital City Luminaire and the story won't just be about the warfare but will instead have part of its focus on how people are surviving.

Wolfpack will follow Admirals Cain and Hudson and Commanders Burkett, Fasjovik and Sallis as they lead a small fleet (Mercury Class Battlestars Pegasus and Therion, Arion Class Battlestar Arion, Valkyrie Class Battlestar Praetoria and Nemea Class Battlestation/Mobile Drydock Orca) against the Cylons in guerrilla warfare as they chase after the Colonial fleet of New Beginnings. Everything has consequences in this story and while there is brutality in it I am attempting to keep it dumbed down to the point where I don't need to put it into the M category primarily because those stories don't show up unless you search for them.
