Not since The X Files have I been tempted to write a fan fic. Since Marvel's Avengers assembled, I've read the amazingly creative stories on this site and been surprisingly entertained. There are so many talented writers who lend their imaginations to these characters and I wanted to join the club, so to speak. I don't fancy myself a writer, though many of my college classes (back in the day) were writing classes. My communication degree has served me well, but I miss writing for fun. This is a great opportunity to hone writing skills, receive peer feedback, and just simply get lost in a fictional universe.
