Finally bothered to update this thing, now that I'm starting to get a bit more serious about my writing.

My names Pious Mage, inspired by the wonderful FE character Nino despite not having any Fire Emblem related stories anymore, oh well! I haven't always wanted to a be a writer as weird as that sounds? I wanted to be a pizza maker growing up, then a cop, then an astronaut, then a pilot and so on. One thing I always loved though was reading. I would get so lost and entranced in these worlds that authors made and I'd fall in love with them By third grade I was reading at a eigth grade level, by 7th grade I'd already conquered Harry Potter, Lord Of The Rings, The first three books in The Inheritance Cycle and more. It was around 9th grade I discovered fanfiction in poorly written smut with a friend. After that I wondered if people wrote non smut fanfics and continued the worlds I fell in love with onwards. I started reading everything and any fanfic I could find that interested me, then I wanted to see if I could write my own? I sucked and quit, but I kept reading and reading and reading. by grade 11 I had read all of ASOIAF and over 50 fanfics and was waiting patiently for at least 8 to update all of which were over 50,000 words. Through reading these and there reviews I began to get a grasp on basic writing, characterization, character building, world building, tropes, narrative structure. I fell in love, I began analyzing stories I'd read before, critiquing them, learning from them and trying to come up with my own plots and world that could help them out. I fell in love with re imaginings, novelizations, and knew I wanted to create my own. So after a few failed attempts here I am doing my best to create my own world within an established universe and well you're around for the rest I guess?
