Author has written 3 stories for Fifty Shades Trilogy. Love to write, love to read. Love to make horrid puns. Really horrid puns. a) writing is my therapy. b) I'm crass, consider yourself forewarned. c) snark is healthy for the soul. Anyway, about the writing thing, you can check out my website/blog where hijinks ensue. Looking for INTERVENTION OF ANA 1.0? It got reincarnated into DARKER SHADE OF PALE and is occasionally free on Amazon. If you like stories of sarcatic survivors thriving after facing inner demons, check out my novel, A Toast to Starry Nights ... non-traditional romance/erotica double dipped in chocolate and other delicious things to stimulate the mind. A Note: I write to suit me. If you don't like my take on certain topics (specifically Intervention of Ana), then by all means, please do not read further and subject yourself to someone else's point of view because it disagrees with you. We can be adult about this without insulting people. People who have not been in a situation of domestic violence cannot understand the intimate way such abuse undermines a person. Life feels like a trap, nowhere to go, nowhere to hide. Living in constant fear, constant unease. If you have never felt such anguish at the hands of a supposed loved one, then please do not hate because you cannot relate. Just to be clear, BDSM is not abuse when it's SAFE, SANE and CONSENTUAL. Got no problem with kinky fun. I do have a problem with stalking, intimidation, coersion, not taking NO for an answer, not adhering to boundries set, victim blaming, and other forms of random douche-baggery. QUESTIONS I GET ASKED A LOT: Why are you posting this on a fan-fic site when you obviously want to piss down the neck of Christian Grey? - Because I like the potential FSoG has to help enlighten and educate people about the various shades of domestic violence. Everyone has hangups-- Ana can't resist Christian Grey, he exploits that. She finally sucks it up because she's inexperienced and wants true love, Disney style, rich Prince and all. I'm writing this because I think Ana's potential hadn't been explored to its logical conclusion. Just another take on their story. Consider it a Darker Shade of Grey. Here's the thing: if you like FSoG, cool. I like English Toffee. If you don't like English Toffee, my appreciation for it shouldn't effect you in the least. Your tastes are not tied to mine. And vice versa. |
