Draco
Draco is the dragon god. He lives in the Dragon Heaven ( location: constellation Draco) but visits Earth often to be with is daughter, Aurora. He is the most powerful dragon in all of creation. Draco is green with blue wings and golden spines, horns, and claws. He wears golden armor made from an unearthly substance. Draco was the founder and original king of Draconia.

Queen Avalon

Queen Avalon is the granddaughter of Lord Draco, for that reason she was born with the gift of magic. She is a Whippertail dragon where the last third of her tail has no bones and thus can be used as a whip and can be used to grab things. She’s teal green with purple horns and claws, and has lavender eyes. She loves to use her magic to grow things such as flowers, grass, and trees. Her symbol is the peacock.

King Eider

King Eider is mate to Queen Avalon. He’s a Whippertail-Blackfang hybrid. He has the long tail of a Whippertail, and the venomous black teeth of a Blackfang. He’s purple with black horns and claws, and amber eyes. His parents were killed when he was very young, and he grew up an orphan. He’s been best friends with Avalon ever since. His symbol is the king eider duck, common in Alaska.

Apollo

Apollo is Avalon’s twin brother. He too was born with magic. He is red with gold horns, eyes, and claws. He uses his magic to enchant items that he keeps in his utility vest. Some of the items he’s enchanted are: A sapphire star that allows him to visit the dreams of anyone he’s seen as long as they’re asleep, a food bowel that doubles anything put into it on command, a chunk of crystal that finds anything it’s told to, a river stone that heals any surface wound it touches, a pair of slate boards that can receive and send messages between themselves. He borrows symbols from the greek god of the sun; such as the laurel wreath, the raven, the lyre, and the sun.

Black Widow

Black Widow is a Night Fury-Blackfang hybrid. She has the sonar flaps, eyes, wings, fins, tail, firepower, body, and jet black scales of a Night Fury. She also has the long wolf-like legs, long neck, lizard-like head, and venomous black teeth of a Blackfang. On her forehead is a red hour glass, and her symbol is the black widow spider. She has the speed and stealth of a Night Fury and the stamina of a Blackfang.

Edelweiss Dagonborn

Edelweiss Dragonborn, was born with dragon’s blood which makes her half human and half dragon. Her mother was given dragon’s blood when she was young, and her father was given half a dragon’s heart. Edelweiss has the strength, speed, and immortality of a dragon. She’s a tall, beautiful woman with long black hair, light tan skin, patches of white dragon scales on the side of her face, down her back, arms, and legs, and green dragon eyes. Her scales create a natural armor, that is completely fireproof. She has the ability to transform into a dragon. In her dragon form, she has the body for an eastern dragon and the wings of a western dragon. Her scales are white with gold highlights. Her legs are rodent-like and her head resembles a canine, like a wolf or a badger with long whiskers attached to her upper lip, and long twisted, golden horns. Her symbol is the edelweiss flower and her signature weapons are twin swords and bow ’n arrows.

Whippertail Dragons

Whippertail dragons are large, western style dragons. Full grown they are the size of a clydesdale horse. They the body and legs of a wolf, the head of monitor lizard with a pair of horns, large bat-like wings, a muscular giraffe-like neck, and a long slender tail. The last third of their tails have no bones, just solid muscle. They use their tails as whips, and to grab things. They come in any color or pattern.

Blackfang Dragons

Blackfangs are a close cousin to the Whippertail and look similar, though their body and legs are more cat-like. They’re smaller than the Whippertails, about the size of an arabian horse. They are more vicious and more aggressive than the Whippertails. Their teeth are so poisonous that they’re jet black. They can kill their play in less than an instant with one bite. The amount of venom in their system makes them immune to other poisons.

The Castle
The castle is carved out of a castle-shaped mountain. It started out as a series of deep caves. As Draconia developed the caves became rooms made of marble, gold, and cement. The biggest room in the castle is the great hall. The castle is 1,000 ft high and has over 300 rooms. On one side of the castle is the capital city, Bluegreen, on the other side is a vast cove known as Castle Cove with its own small harbor, known as Royal Town. Castle Cove is sealed by a 2 mile long wall. The Castle Gate is in the very center of the wall. The gate is an entrance for visitors from other countries that have been invited to the castle.

The Golden Apple
The golden apple is Draconia's only locally grown resource. Golden apple trees grow in the middle of the country, around the city of Apple Grove. In addition to golden apple trees Apple Grove is also surrounded by regular apple trees.

Music
Music is very important to the dragons. Draco himself loves to sing more than anything. Dragons use their songs to cast spells, tell stories, remember heroes, or just to pass the time on long flights, or swims. Music and song have become a huge part of Draconian culture. That's why they put the music note on the national flag.
