After Thomas' tragic encounter with the Duke; he and Jimmy are set on a rollercoaster (yes, a rollercoaster) of terrifying reunions, intruding imposters, old enemies and new, death, hope, heartbreak, and no glory whatsoever, in a desperate bid to survive, as both men try to find out what they really want from life and what matters to them the most.

The story will be about their friendship, which just might be heading toward something more as Jimmy attempts to sort out his confused emotions. The content will eventually be more mature, so don't give up at the slow start!

Modern AU - Thomas is a photo tech with little hope of a promotion. Amidst life troubles, he finds himself attracted to a boy in a customer's photographs. He is introduced to Edward, a blind ex-soldier with a lot of emotional baggage. Thomas helps Edward confront his fears, and Edward shows Thomas that sometimes it's okay to let somebody else carry the weight once in a while.

Hauntsverse story, set post "The Enchanted Life of Thomas Barrow". It's not always perfect magical love for Thomas and Jimmy. Well, okay, maybe it is.

Arthur hears Merlin singing one day while they're both drunk, and he can't get it out of his head. (No slash. Established Gwen/Arthur relationship and Merlin is already Court Sorcerer).

Post-Christmas Special (series 3) Mr.Barrow takes up with a horse groom. Jimmy is confused. Lady Mary's gone nihilist. The Dowager says something funny.

The Duke of Crowborough is back to cause trouble, as his arrival sparks off a chain of events which result in heart break, confusion, misery, and dare I say desire. Set post S3. Unfortunately I cannot take credit for the characters, this must go to Julian Fellowes.

Thomas is tired of Alfred's jabs. When Thomas hears Alfred and Jimmy place a bet involving a new barmaid at the Red Lion, he thinks he has figured out a way to earn back their respect or at the very least, make them look foolish.
