I'm pretty new to the fanfiction world. Together or Not At All is my first attempt at fanfic, though I've written some of my own stories, which is where Ayla and her world came from. I've been lurking and reading Dragon Age fanfic for the last several months, though.

There's some really fantastic work on here, and it inspired me to try my own hand at writing a fanfic. Especially since the story won't get out of my head. I needed more Dragon Age, anyway. I find myself totally fascinated with the game and the world, and there's only so many times you can replay the game before it gets boring. So, we'll try this instead.

I'm also a big fan of Alistair, which is why I decided to do an Alistair romance fic to start with. Once this fic gets done with, I have an idea for a sequel involving DA2. So, we'll see how it goes. Hope you all enjoy as much as I've enjoyed the fics I've read so far!

June 2016 - Hey all! Thought it was time I finally updated this a little bit. Anyway, I'm a huge geek of anything involving stories, up to and including RPGs, which is what led me here in the first place, as Dragon Age has become one of my favorite series, as noted above. I'm a follower of many fandoms however, including Supernatural, Game of Thrones, LOTR, the MCU, and many many others - far too many to list here though! Fantasy and anything with an element of something other is what I like most, however, and is what I love to write. Now that I've had some practice and feedback on here, I intend to start working on an original full-length novel involving the world of Fallor, which will likely mean I'll only be updating my story about once a month, but I'll try to make it more often if life and my full-time job don't get in the way too much!

PS: I'm also Canadian, so I apologize for the switch back and forth between American and British spelling. My Word program auto-corrects to British spelling without me noticing sometimes, and both versions appear right to me, so it often switches back and forth. Overall I think my editing mistakes are fairly minimal for non-betaed work though! Let me know if you spot anything and I will edit it now that I know how!

My stories:

It Came As a Shock: Currently just two one-shot fics into Aedan and Morrigan's romance from the Together universe. I will likely be posting my next gift fic, which will be a glimpse into the events of Awakening with Alistair and Ayla after the events of Together, as the third "chapter" of this story. And it will likely end up being a mix of gift fics after that, so it will be very infrequently updated.

Together or Not At All: My very first fanfiction revolving around Dragon Age Origins, which is complete and will no longer be receiving updates after the brief sequel preview I just posted today. However Ayla and Alistair, along with other characters from that story, will be appearing in the sequel, and everything that happens in there informs the sequel, of course.

Somewhere We Belong: The first sequel to Together, revolving around Dragon Age 2. It mainly centers around Ayla's brother Mardin, who is mentioned a few times in Together, and Brianna Hawke. The POVs will largely switch back and forth between the two of them, but there will be a few chapters down the road that will be from Alistair's and Ayla's POVs, and possibly Aedan/Morrigan and other members of the DA2 cast as well. Still not fully decided on that. It will be getting updates at least once a month, possibly more frequently as my schedule allows. Once it is finished, there will be an Inquisition sequel that continues on in the Together universe, and will feature cameos from both Together and Somewhere.

Worth It: A one-shot Nathaniel and Velanna gift fic, featuring a somewhat AU glimpse of the Together universe. Complete.
