My name is Nina, and I am a 26-year-old semi-mess of a person. I am currently stuck at a dead-end job at a 24-hour convenience store, working the graveyard shift. I suppose it's a bit maudlin phrasing it like that, but quite frankly I just don't see the point in lying like that. Right now, I'm trying to get back into the swing of creative pursuits, especially in regards to fiction-writing. Fiction has always been one of my great loves in life, and I'm slowly trying to develop my own ability to write it myself. As it stands however, I'm mostly just focused on writing fanfiction. Currently, I focus on Persona 4 fanfiction, but I'd like to expand out to Higurashi and original writing.

As far as fandoms go, I really adore Persona 4. It's the best little murder mystery/urban fantasy video-game I've seen in a long time, if ever, and all of the adorable and hilarious character interaction pleases me greatly. I also enjoy Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni and am currently trying to get into Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Really, anything that involves time shenanigans, murder, dysfunctional teenagers having social problems at each other and a dash of surprising lightness or a chance at a happy-ish ending is something I'm willing to try. I've also had good experiences with Harry Potter, but the idea of trying to write Harry Potter fanfiction now, with so many talented writers already around, and creating works far surpassed what I can do, just makes my throat clench.

Recent Personal Updates: As of July 3rd, I am officially engaged. My boyfriend (goes by Jurodan on this site) proposed two days before his birthday. I'm rather pleased about this. I'm sure no one is reading this, and most who actually are reading probably don't give a damn, but I'm still pretty happy about this recent development. Jurodan (or Tom, as I'd prefer calling him) is a darling and wonderful man, a fantastic and hard-working person who I just adore to pieces.

Warning for eventual violence and pre-timeline major character death)

The Necessity of Cooking Lessons: Seven times, Souji's friends each came to a separate realization: that they should cook for Souji! After all, what's a better sign of friendship than feeding someone? Seven times, Souji was left utterly terrified at how many ways people can go horribly wrong with cooking simple dishs. (Persona 4 fluff fic. It's just silly light writing, meant to mitigate)
