Author has written 3 stories for Hellsing.

I'm an unreliable writer with an interest in gaming, martial arts, and Japanese and Korean dramas.

Hellsing, Attack on Titan, Inuyasha, Gokusen, Full Metal Alchemist, and Samurai Deeper Kyo are my favorite anime/manga. Not to say these are the only ones that I like, but they are the ones I've stayed tuned into the longest or given most of my attention to (not counting Dragon Ball Z or Sailor Moon because I mean, my childhood, right?).

That aside, for those looking for amusement or those who are currently following my fanfiction, I just put up thecommonsunderground on tumblr (can't put the link in here) so you can get updates or a look into my writing process, doodles, or blog posts discussing things that generally amuse me. It's also a portal where I'll be able to respond better to those following my story that don't have an account on . You can add me on twitter @D20AttackRoll as well, made one of those things not too long ago and might as well use it.

I have an INSANE schedule so I'll try my best to keep things rolling this time around. Just harass me in ungodly ways if I waver!

Thanks!

So... I've probably missed a lot.

I am sorry it took me as long as it did to get back around to this side of the Internet, but I thank you all for sticking with it and still checking in from time-to-time despite my semi-abandonment of activity the last several months...almost year...what the fuck!?!?! Blasted college and blasted work. Life is a tide which pushes and pulls us to distraction. Ah, but enough of that. My responses to chapter VII reviews are also posted on my tumblr, just scroll and find your name, I think all of the reviewing 'guests' actually put a pen name in this go around. Wooh! You guys are so awesome. Seriously.

I need to stop setting deadlines for myself because I never make them. -Sigh-

STASIS CHAPTER VII REVIEW RESPONSES (in order by submission)

The Grand Dragon of Light - Thank you so much for taking the time to review again and I'm glad this chapter could deliver more positive development. I tend to lean on the side of bringing to light the negative side to Alucard since he is often viewed with that mysterious anti-hero, hero, kink worship by the fandom due to his looks and 'badass-ery', so I'm definitely trying to keep off of the rails of the normal role he usually rides in most fics where he essentially just dominates someone into submission while being unapologetic and often displeased with small concessions needed on his part. So by all means - bawl like the Japanese school girl of your inner heart. Bawl away! But don't forget to let me know how the new chapter fares with you!

that1reviewer - Don't get ahead of yourself with that disappointment, love! I often work backwards so that I have plot points to work back into flash backs or retrospection, so you might get a view into that missing time, just not in direct order of the chapter since I haven't as of yet in chapters I-VII, begun a chapter without a large gap in time taking place. Hopefully this new chapter gives you a rich nibble and doesn't leave you with too much of an unmet craving. Lol. Thanks for reviewing, again! I get such enjoyment being able to read everyones feedback and having discussions about certain points (though my responses are often... belated...) Drop me a few lines on how this new chapter treats you!

happybubbles2010 - YOU'RE the best Valentine's day present ever. Well, and all of my other reviewers. Ha! But don't let that make you feel less significant, there's a special place in my black hole of a heart for all of you. Thank you for the review, I'm really thrilled that you've enjoyed it so far. Chapter VIII is out, so let me know what you think!

AmericanWildDog - I laughed at the first line of your review, was it really such a relief?!? Keep leaving me reviews like that and I'll end up with a pompous air that would rival Alucard's usual demeanor. In seriousness, I thought it was an important point to show that Seras was not immediately going to run into his arms and forgive Alucard - after all, she suffered great injustices by his hand, and though she loves him dearly, she needed him to pull himself from his own behaviors and show that he could concede himself to a life where they could be on equal footing for the long run. A choice he himself would have to insure by controlling himself. By the way, I love the song you recommended, it really is fitting! I also found a song by Simon Curtis that I'm going to be listening to when I write a more... vigorous scene. HA! As for your questions - Tsk tsk darling, that would ruin the surprise wouldn't it? Can't be giving away plot points before their time now can I? I can say that I am not sure how long the story will end up being since it got away from my original outline by an immense degree. In regards to the rest, maybe chapter VIII will answer some for you? As always, many thanks for another fabulous review and come back to share your thoughts on the update!

Akasha Queen - You are very welcome! Many thanks to yourself for leaving me a review on this chapter. I could weep with joy at the precious time you all are giving to me and my updates. The new chapter is out now (and apologies for the long wait, very unintentional), so hopefully that 'can't wait to see what happens next' wasn't literal or I might be in trouble! Let me know your thoughts!

Evil gemini - You are welcome! I do it just for you! Well... not just you but you're definitely a factor! Lol. Enjoy chapter VIII!

Jareth'sQueenBitch - Oh dear! I'm very glad to have helped you get over your cold, at least mentally, hopefully you haven't had more since my last update or I'd feel absolutely useless. Lol. With how you and others review, it makes me wish at times that I was not the one writing this fanfiction so that I could read it as a viewer and see if I enjoyed it as much as you seem to or if I would find it less engaging. But I digress, thank you for another endearing review! I also find Vlad to be a more personal address to a man whose been around over six centuries and has been called everything from monster-to master-to being ironically renamed entirely. I find that since he is trying to tear himself away from the behaviors he's built up with his long and ruthless life, that getting back to the basics is essential. As for what I plan to put my dear followers through... hmm... do you really want to ask if I'd make you guys suffer by leaving a mess of UST? We might just have to wait and see... MWAHAHA! Get back to me on chapter VIII, okay dear? Thanks again!

Oxford Not Brogues - Yes! Finally, the long awaited chapter VIII is out. I wanted to keep the story fairly short, but I can't end it without a clear resolution which I don't think chapter VII gave exactly nor this chapter - so much for plans, huh? Thank you for your review and fill me in on your thoughts on this update!

crimson dragonX - This is your party and you can cry if you want to. Whelp, that was an old reference, disregard that. Haha. As observed in prior chapters, I don't spend large quantities of time in the same time frame during the same chapter. So while I skipped ahead 18 months, that doesn't necessarily mean that we won't revisit that time frame again for important details, da? Try not to worry about the skipped time, we'll learn a lot about their progression. In fact, chapter VIII might provide some insight, so get back to me on your thoughts about what is in the update! Thank you for taking the time to review! I'm probably a few steps away from printing out all these kind words and rolling in them like some people want to roll around in money (which is beyond me considering where most money has been... Que shudder of disgust).

Jubalii - I'm overjoyed that I could contribute to the success of society by being the oompa loompa to your Violet Beauregarde and helping to motivate you to roll your butt to class. Hopefully all went well and you enjoyed the freedom of graduation? Saying that makes me realize how long I've been MIA on this. Ugh. As for chapter VII, I didn't want Seras to forgive Alucard completely because I felt that it would cancel out her growth as a character and would give Alucard the impression that Sears would not stand strong in her convictions should he fail to keep his word, so I am glad that that came across well to you. As for her request of him to be equals, I'm glad we're in agreement. Many people have questioned me asking why I made it so 'easy' for Alucard to overpower Seras in battle, since giving her power on par with his is the popular demand and 'since she's worked as a soldier for so long', but realistically, yes he has six centuries of experience on her. He also has experience commanding massive armies where Seras can only boast to being the commander of a small privately owned 'troop'. Then to factor height/weight ratio and the fact that males are naturally built to be stronger and females to be swift and nimble, as a martial artist, I know personally well that speed and flexibility will only get you so far. Even if you are matched against an opponent who is matched in skills with you, if they are heavier, and stronger, one wrong move or being caught is all it takes. So despite me writing her as being physically weaker, that does not make her beneath him and I wanted to show that through his acceptance of her request and his humbling before her. I'm happy to see it had a positive effect. Anyway! Thank you so much for reviewing again! I hope you get some enjoyment from the new chapter!

A french girl - It's been a pleasure bringing you pleasure. Ha! I need to stop. Excuse me for having no shame. Thanks for another positive review, I love hearing from you! Share some words with me on chapter VIII.

lizardsjade - Is it because you want me to guess or are you under some sort of duress? lol. Well, thank you very much for leaving a review and I hope the update meets your expectations! Let me know!

Little cat - I should hire you to do introductions for me. You're better than the warning labels at the cinema. lol. I contemplated writing more volatile actions on Seras' part, but I didn't want her to come off as too damaged to allow her merciful nature to shine through. I'm sure it'll be quite the adjustment for Alucard in the long run, hopefully he won't fail the Draculina again. Since chapter VIII is out, feel free to share more thoughts on the matter. Thanks dearly for the review!

Zombie Toast - There looks to be a lot of questions there. Questions... with answers that would be considered spoilers. Spoilers which would be considered... out of the question? Kekeke. So... Can't answer them but thank you for taking the time to review and I'm giddy to find out if the update has you asking even more questions!

Narake - Great to hear from you again! We can only hope that nothing comes between the two again, but that's for us to find out. I'm glad that I can make the time to get back to each of you, even if it's just a few lines. I think it's important to let people know they are appreciated, and I think that goes for readers as well as writers. We're both taking the time to contribute something, whether it's a story or feedback, so I like to 'share the wealth' as is said. Plus, it's fun to be able to talk to everyone. So thank you, as always! Enjoy chapter VIII!

casedeputy - Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. I always dread releasing a new chapter because I'm super paranoid about it not hitting prior standards. But I leave it to you guys to let me know if I've dropped the ball, so come back and let me know how you feel about the update.

AmericanWildDog - Did you review the same chapter twice or is this a different user? Either way! Thanks again!

Ericke - Ah thank you! I've had a few people come over from DG to read on FF since I usually post the update on here first. I'm going to have to review the current guidelines on FF about content if I decide to do a full lemon, since I've read a lot of explicit stories on here after the 'great purge' they did, so I'm not sure if I could get away with posting it on here for a while too or if I'll have to exclusively post that content to DG and adultff. Thanks for reviewing! Enjoy chapter VIII!

CrzyAsians - Well, wait no longer! Chapter VIII is out now and I'm ready to hear from you all! Taking the time to review is such a treat to the writers on here, so thanks for doing that and I'm ecstatic to know you've liked it so far!

Flyrisha - Thank you! Thank you! (Bowing dramatically) You hit the nail on the head with your review in regards to why I had it play out the way that I did. Alucard has to take responsibility into his own hands for what he's done and needs to do. Their future together depends on his actions from this point and he needs to work on bettering himself because there will be no one to 'force' him into making the correct decisions. I'm sure my facial expressions are absurd while reading all these great reviews, but I am so very flattered. Thank you for always giving me a few minutes of your time by reviewing! I repay you all with chapters, so have fun with the new one!

belladu57 - Thanks so much! Enjoy the new chapter!

Lady Julie Snape - No need to apologize, I'm happy for any review at any time! I'm far more tardy in my obligations to update this story, so I won't hold it against you...this time. Just kidding. I think we all get a little jealous whenever the king of vampires gets amorous with someone, lol, and knowing that I can write these characters in a way that is so appealing to people fills me with such satisfaction, even more so when I'm told so by people who usually don't follow the ship I'm sailing. So by all means, use my fanfic to enjoy your fantasies, it's what it's there for! As for how I have described the character relationships so far, I always try to play off of what Kouta Hirano has commented on. While Alucard and Integra do have a mutual respect and a somewhat twisted love for each other, it is tempered by the fact that underneath everything, it is a master/slave relationship, where as with Seras and Alucard, Kouta has said that they have a very complicated relationship that can not be distinguished in one way. He also jokes that Integra doesn't 'swing that way' when it comes to relationships with males, so I always like to kinda play with that a bit, I suppose. That's just to give an idea of what I use to set my ground work for how I'm writing these characters. To answer your question in regards to a union between the two vampires, it would be as husband and wife, or just eternal lovers, mates, companions, they all mean the same thing. While I enjoy reading fan-fics with the whole 'mates/demon' aspect from time to time that is used to replace their berserker rages/blood lust, it's just not in vampire lore, and I'm an old school vampire fan, so I won't be writing it in that sense. They are essentially just distorted humans, humans don't have predetermined spouses, so my vampires will just be together because of the relationship they built. Good question though! I always enjoy your reviews, so thank you for taking the time to leave them. Enjoy the update!

Okami-onna - No way! This can't be the best, there are many great Hellsing stories that would be far more worthy of that decree, don't make me blush! I think I've gotten more than a handful of inquiries regarding 'the good stuff'. What if I just tortured you all and didn't write anything else in that regard? Hmm, I'd probably get hate-mail. Lol. Anyway, super flattered and overjoyed that you've had such a good time reading so far and thank you for the kind words! Chapter VIII will hopefully keep you enraptured.

Glitch - Thank you for leaving a review even though it seems we don't see things from quite the same perspective, which is okay, I like making counter points and sharing my thoughts. No matter what, it doesn't come down to 'facts' or whether someone is 'paying attention' or not to canon or comment by the original creator, this is a fan-fiction which means I have the liberty to write whatever I want in it because Kouta Hirano has not denied us the right to write fan-fiction unlike some creators. Now, I'll be more than happy to share my perspective with you, and why I wrote things the way that I did. For starters, Kouta contradicts himself all the time in interviews, because he doesn't care that much and is too lazy to keep up with things, which he admits. He might have said that Alucard is in a 'willing' servant in one interview, but he has also said that he is 'a captured slave' in others and in an interview with Puff magazine and it is quite well established that he is under control by the bloodline. It really just depends on Hirano's mood, what is going to come out of his mouth. While Alucard's respect is earned, he is not initially a willing slave to Hellsing, nor are his restrictions there by his own will, which is why Integra has to give permission for his restrictions to be released. Abraham beat Alucard and earned his respect over time, but he was not happy about it. Also, if you read Dracula, Abraham is not so compassionate nor religious enough to not operate or experiment with a completely open mind for the advancement of science, which is stated in the novel Dracula and by the fact the Hellsing manga states he's been experimented on for 100 years, we can assume it is a scientific method rooted in magic, not necessarily black magic, that keeps Alucard contained. If you read the entirety of chapter V, then it is explained quite clearly, what Alucard's reasoning is in this fic with his retrospection on his life as Vlad and Count Dracula, but please let me know if you found something to be unclear. As for your displeasure with the 'demon' state that is popular in Hellsing fan-fictions, I enjoy those versions at times, not all the time since I am an old school vampire lore lover and they can get a bit silly, but I respect the right other people have to write their fan-fictions in their own way. I personally will not be using that aspect in this fan-fic or any of my other fics, so I'm not sure if something in my story made you think of that or if you were just mentioning it as a point, but that twist on vampirism is not a part of my fan-fic. Hopefully that helped clear up my mindset and reasonings for certain aspects of this fic. Feel free to let me know your thoughts on the update. Please keep in mind that I appreciate all constructive criticism, not attacks on creative freedom.

carlycandybear - Don't tell me what to do. Hmph, you could at least ask nicely. Lol. I'm assuming you liked it since you want more, drop more than a word to me after chapter VIII, or I'll... I'll...I'll probably update regardless eventually, but still! I'll be a tad bit petulant about it.

SnakeWithWings - Thank you for touching base with me on tumblr and for the awesome playlist you picked out for me to listen to for Stasis! It was like the icing on the cake of reviews. I really appreciate it and it helped focus me when I had the time to work on the new chapter. Maybe chapter VIII will make up for the long wait. Love, love, love darling!
