9/25: Yay! I just got back from the Japan Fest in Stone Mountain, Georgia, and needless to say, I had a blast. It was pretty cool. I got so much merchandise (T-shirts, fans, food, kanji, etc.) that I looked like a bona fide tourist, but I learned a few good cultural lessons too. But check this out. This was the highlight of my day. I got an extremely rare AoStH video tape, over 100 minutes; 3 episodes as well as a bonus episode... and I only got it for 50 cents. Half a frikkin' dollar! Man, they did not know what they were giving up so easily.

And excusing my excitement and bragging, I know I'm a little late... about a month late... but that's what happens when you have a case of Writer's Block. It'll decieve you sometimes and think you're out of the forest, until you realize it was simply a blind path. But I'm okay again and I've got the next story, Raising the Blue Flag. It's only an introduction into the war, but be thankful for you won't have to read as much to get to the good parts. I'll start working on Kissed By a Rose 2 soon enough, which may be titled Ordinary People. More soon to come.

8/28: Wasn't that a flat-out lie about that wait a week thing? I apologize for the wait, but when school starts and Writer's Block sets in, writing is the furthest thing from your mind. However, continuing work on Raising the Blue Flag should be much easier now that I've got some direction and a common theme to run throughout this thing. So, and I'm serious this time, it should be up in what I estimate to be about week or two. I also promised details about Kissed By A Rose's sequel, didn't I? Well, the most I have down is the basic plot. Basically, Shadow begins having a mid-life crisis due to the fulfillment of his promise. I'm not sure whether I want to give them a child, though, since that idea's been slightly overdone (what am I talking about? The original's overdone!) and the making of that certain child involves something else completely out of my league... More ideas and updates later!

8/07: I'm now starting work on my new story, Raising the Blue Flag, which chronicles Sonic and his friends' heroic deeds and military missions against an strange horde of Neo-Mobians: clones of different Mobians with unimaginable strength. There will be gunfire, there will be blood, and there will be death. It's the radical change I wanted from Kissed By A Rose, and I was in the mood for writing something... a bit more darker and more devastating. Hopefully, it will turn out to be just as successful as my prior novel. Once I get the prologue and first chapter down, which should be about a week or so, I'll begin fleshing out the plot for Kissed By A Rose 2. Granted, the sequel will be more adult and angsty than the original. More details on this later.

8/05: Kissed By A Rose is officially complete! I'm sure some of you are a bit disappointed, but all stories must have an ending. However, I know I promised you all some good news, and well here it is: There is a sequel in the works. Yes, you all will get to read farther into Shad and Ames' relationship, because the road of love is never easy... Once I get one of my other ideas going on this site, I'll begin work on it. And with school coming up, updates are bound to be slow, but just be patient like you have been. It'll pay off in the end.

8/02: I posted that random OS I mentioned below. Just in case you didn't know about it before, it details Knuckles' horrible day of trying to get the very last piece to the Master Emerald back. Problem is, everytime he barely touches it, you can be sure some injury will be dealt. Something I just felt like posting for the heck of it. Now that that's done, Kissed By A Rose should be updated within a day or two.

24 Hours (Idea)-- To get to the point, Sonic is miserable. He's lost his speed, Eggman's gone into hiding so that means no more adventuring, and Amy's even more nagging now that he lives with her! However, the money-loving alcoholic wakes up one morning to find out he's got his wish: Eggman's kidnapped Amy and naturally he goes out to rescue her. But without his speed and people stopping him constantly to do good deeds, will he ever get the things he treasures most back? Sonic goes Bad Fur Day in a fic that breaks all the rules of so-called "good writing." (Adaptation, Action/Adventure/Humor, T)

ASAP (Working title/Idea)- Sonic and Tails have been tried and convicted of first degree murder to a minor, and are sentenced to life in the most hard-core and gruesome prison in Station Square. Of course they escape, but their hardship has just begun. Being watched and hunted by Eggman, the population, and even the underground mafia who want revenge on the two for the victim's death, their lives have been reduced to a living hell. Sonic soon becomes unrecognizable and hard to deal with... that is, until a little girl comes along... (Epic/Homage, Angst/Action/Adventure, T)

No Title (Idea)- We go back to the ending of SA2, just as Shadow is about to perish. But just as he begins his descent, Sonic makes a desperate attempt to save him, running out of power as well. The two fall together and are presumed dead until they are found by a random explorer a year later, untouched and in a comatose state. With medical attention, the two soon come out of it, but have absolutely no recollection of their past lives or even who they are. They soon go to live with the family who saved them both, growing up as normal, girl-loving, irresponsible teens while trying to deal with the apparent differences from their adoptive family, as well as the random visions they receive depicting the people of their past life. (Series, Humor/Drama, K+)

We Gettin' Zeros! (Working title/Idea) Sonic and the gang are in school. Yeah, it's another school fic... just without the romance, the personal problems, the need to achieve and be somebody, trying to strike out on their own, the focus... Basically, these kids are everything that a good- No, make that any- student should NOT be. Watch the Heroes gang completely annihilate the Code of Conduct in a humor (or horror) story that is actually based on true accounts and events. (Series, Humor/General, K+- T)

Favorite Series: Sonic the Hedgehog. That's the only series I'll write on, but I can write in just about every genre, so it works out good.

Top 5 Favorite Characters: Shadow, Sonic, Knuckles, Eggman, and Metal Sonic

Favorite Couple: Shadamy. Look at my first story! Personally, I think they need each other. Shadow would be happy settling down again peacefully with a girl, and Amy wants Sonic. Seeing as how he doesn't take an interest in her, why not go for the next best person?

Personal: Basically, I am a 15 year old bum with a huge interest in all things Sonic. I like the shows, games, comics, characters, etc. But I've got other interests. For one, I'm an artist. Not to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty good in character design at least. I also like video games (not surprising) I don't have one favorite genre. I'll play anything that looks remotely interesting. I am also into everything animation and Hollywood in general, and hope to be very renowned in the entertainment business when I am older. I also love animals. I find nearly every animal pretty cool and worth respecting... except for bugs; Worms, spiders, any of those. They can all perish in a tomb of 1000 flames. Personality wise, I'm always quiet around people I don't know. But when I open up to you, I'm funny, sarcastic... intelligent... and hopefully someone you like having around.

Trivia:

This section I made completely out of boredom (I may replace it later on with something else.) But I'd figure it'd be something interesting to read if you're bored like me. Since I want to be a legendary filmmaker one day, I exhibit habits of legendary filmmakers naturally. Sometimes I like to add little things in my work from other sources, like homages, or make adaptations and such. Here's some of the things I slipped in my stories:

1) Kissed By A Rose: With the exception of "Phone Call" and "If I Could", every chapter in some way is named after a song by the artist Seal, famous for his hit single "Fly Like An Eagle". In fact, the title is the name of another one of his songs, which is on the Batman soundtrack. The story is also based off of a similar novella called Ethan Frome, about a lonely, angtsy man who finds light in his life again when he hits off a relationship with a happy girl. When Shadow begins to admit the horrors he faced while living on ARK, he says the sound of the fatal gunshot that killed Maria was so loud that it seemed to "smash the world into little pieces." This is a line from a similar situation in the movie The Plague Dogs, in which Snitter, the main character, tells his friend of how he killed a man by accidently stepping on the trigger to a shotgun. In the chapter where Shadow and Amy go on a date, Amy tackles him and they roll down a long hill together. This is a homage to another famous cartoon couple: Simba and Nala from The Lion King. While on a sort of rendezvous in the jungle, the cats find themselves tumbling down a hill. Ironically, the male in both couples finally gets the better of his mate in this light-hearted situation. Also, this story was published on June 19th, which is Shadow's birthday.

2) What Else Can Go Wrong?: The entire premise of the story takes its root from the many Hanna-Barbara and Warner Bros. shorts of the 40s, 50s, and 60s, sometimes depicting a character going through a physically demanding journey to retrieve something when in the end, someone else gets the desired object with absolutely no effort at all. Also, these parts were taken directly from these two movies respectively: The Road to El Dorado and Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. The poor seagull meets an untimely end with a shark that bears a remarkable resemblance to Bruce, and Knuckles is unknowingly hit by a car while he celebrates his supposed victory.
