Centering around S7 E10 Mercy, after Jay Halstead is shot, missing moments from the hospital and his recovery.

A special occasion approaches and reminds Jay of his time in Afghanistan, causing nightmares and breakdowns.

It had started as such a good day. Of course, that was before the situation took a steep nosedive into "terrible" territory, and Jay found himself wrestling for control of a gun on the floor of a bank. Could things get any worse?

Random one shot. Mouse and Jay friendship. Mouse visits Chicago to find Jay in the hospital with hypothermia.

Post 6x02, Jay is taken to Med where Will is not at all happy about how things have went down. A little hurt/comfort with the Halstead brothers working things out in their new normal.

Despite nodding along with what Antonio said at Dean Masters' house, Jay isn't expecting it to sneak up on him. Guy was a criminal, he didn't know him, and it's not really anything he hasn't seen before. Which is maybe why he should have known better. Oneshot. Tag to 1x04 "Now is Always Temporary."

With Halstead wounded it takes more than just CIs and threat of arrest to save him. A brother story with Will, Jay, and Mouse.

Things are finally going well for TC and Jordan; they're happy, they're together, and everything looks like it's going to work out. Until that damn letter. TC gets recalled to active service, and the rest of the night shift has to cope with not only their friend heading off into danger, but also the realization that maybe there's more to TC than they had thought.

Walter Steele is an observant man; just because he doesn't say anything doesn't mean he doesn't know (An alternate POV of the beginning of Season 1).
