An avid writer and lover of Japanese culture, Brooklyn-native Kyoko Takara has been a driving force in promoting Japanese animation and related cultural issues. After working as a web designer for several years, she turned to her first love, writing. She has written for Collector's Card World magazine, a hobbies magazine featuring animation and manga themes. Currently, she is working on her first romance novel, "Avarice".
