Hey there!

My full pseudonym may be "PaperGirlInAPaperTown", but I usually go by "Papers", because who wants to type that out 50 billion times? Certainly not me.

As a general note, updates to all stories will be minimal. Apologies, but at this stage I have other priorities in my real life that take precedence over my writing. Unfortuante but necessary. If you have been enjoying my stories thus far and are waiting to see them be updated, I thank you for your continued patience.

One thing you should keep in mind is that is that I am, in fact, Australian. This means I write my dates (dd/mm/yy). So, when browsing anything that's been dated to note minor updates, just keep this in mind.

I may be available to beta upon request. Send me a message and, depending on the size of the job, I will determine if I can commit to helping you write your story at the given time.

A note on corresondence...

I am, overall, a friendly person. I will always do my best to reply to any reviews that you lovely people may leave, be it through my author's notes, or through messaging. Unfortunately, while I endeavour to reply quickly to IMs, I am very busy in my day to day life between uni, work and trying to keep some semblance of a social life. And that's not to mention the fact that somewhere in there I have to find some time to update my stories. So if I'm a little scarce, it's usually one of those reasons - but don't worry. I'll try to reply at my earliest opportunity.

Info Update 16/5/18 I will admit that I have fallen out of love with this fic. It was a great spring-board for me to test out my writing muscles, but...yikes there's just so much here that needs to go. Far away. That's not to say it won't be updated; the updates will just have to come when I find the inspiration write myself out of this hole I've found myself in. I also have some wonderful readers whom I know I would disappoint by leaving it unfinished, so that's not an option. Once again, patience is all I ask.

Description: With the unsettling face of a demonic imp, the hands of a human, and the feet and horns of a goat, Hargerie is a chimera of sorts, encompassed by a ghostly blue aura. More specifically, she is the spirit of Sloth. The second youngest of her siblings, she is the most apathetic and only acts in the interests of others if she sees something to be gained for herself. Eternally bound to the cinderblock weight of her sin, Hargerie has learned to wield her entrapment as a weapon to her advantage.

But no sane soul would ever underestimate such a demonic entity."Based on an ogre-like creature of Japanese mythology, the Oni is an opportunistic, self-serving anarchist, whose goal of survival ensures chaos will inevitably follow in his wake. The Guardians have marred him from what is rightfully his for too long, and now he intends they will pay the price.

Description: "Masked by shadow, this brute had what appeared to be a hog’s head, complete with gnarled tusks and presumably flecks of food around his mouth. He was built like a tank with a generous gut, though he was still dwarfed in comparison to the Oni." Schloemer embodies the sin of Gluttony. He's the epitome of self-indulgence and likes nothing more than to coax you into eating that second slice of cake. The one you know you shouldn't be touching. Schloemer is the third eldest of the sibling Spirits of Sin, though he often steps into the role of gang leader when his older brother, Orgill, allows his rampant egotism and pride to be his downfall.

Todd Milton (for Rise of the Guardians)

Description: A scrawny, blonde haired, freckled boy, Todd is the aiding and abetting accomplice to Mike's despicable deeds. Unfortunately, he rarely thinks for himself, nor is he particularly bright. He may live in his best friend's shadow, but as long as he reaps the benefits of staying on Mike's good side, he's perfectly happy to stay loyal and make others miserable.

Valentina - Spirit of Desire (for Rise of the Guardians)

Description: Valentina (or Val)'s backstory varies drastically between the two stories in which she appears. Her official backstory - that of Russian Roulette - is that she is the daughter of Cupid and Psyche. Born Volupitas, she goes by her middle name to distance herself from her famed parents, wanting to become a revered spirit in her own right. However, in his century (or so) of retirement, Cupid has given Val his bow and arrow intending that she continue his work, even though her Centre is desire, not love.

Clothing: Difficult to explain because her look has evolved from when I began writing. A dress of varying red/pink/orange tones (think stain-glass window). There are two versions. 1.) decorative shoulders that rise to points as seen in the cover art, or 2.) off-the-shoulder short sleeves made from a gauzy, magenta material. The bodice invariably cinches in at the waist and features gold detailing in a curlicue OR flame-like design. The skirt (or layers of skirts) are ruffled and hitched up to allow for full range of motion. Shoes are red and low-heeled
