Hullo.

I'm 29 as of 2018 and happily married. I love dogs and am allergic to cats. I love to read, mainly British period pieces. (Jane Austen or Sherlock Holmes, anyone?)

I used to run the library at an elementary school and sometimes I think I could live in one (a library - not an elementary school!).

I am a Christian and I believe that everything happens for a reason and that all things work together for good for those who love God, and that sometimes, it's not for our own personal good - it's for the good of the bigger picture.

I also think that although my stories feature romance and longing, restored - that our hearts will never be satisfied with human relationships, and that we need a relationship with Jesus to fill that empty spot in our soul. My stories are simply echoes of the satisfaction felt when the truest of all loves is returned - a mere shadow of God's love for us.

I'm a hopeless romantic.

I love kids. I have two amazing little girls.

7. Princess Academy and Palace of Stone by Shannon Hale (Don't let the cheesy title dissuade you - it's a beautifully written story)

8. The Mysterious Benedict Society trilogy by Trenton Lee Stewart

10. Les Miserables by Victor Hugo

11. Matilda by Roald Dahl

12. Anything else by Roald Dahl

13. Belle Prater's Boy and The Search for Belle Prater by Ruth White

14. Summer of My German Soldier by Bette Greene

15. This Is Not My Hat by Jon Klassen (It's a children's picture book, but it's funny and fabulous. The 4th graders at my school turned it into a play. On their own time. It's that awesome.)
