![]() Author has written 28 stories for Wrestling. Guten Tag Greetings from the East Coast of America! My penname is ChelleLew. I am a full-time teacher, wife, and mother. I am also very active in my church, fire department auxiliary, and police auxiliary. Hobbies include writing, watching wrestling, watching NASCAR, doing puzzles, and photography. Reading is a passion of mine, and I feel as a reader I should provide respectful feedback to the author and muses to keep the stories flowing. I appreciate that dialogue even more now that I am looking for my own reviews. (MINI-RANT You have been warned.) On the subject of reviews - this has become a rather touchy subject for me - I do LOVE hearing from everyone who reads what I have written. I appreciate every review and PM that I receive. That includes ones that give constructive criticism or people that express their opinions in a respectful manner. Respectful feedback is what allows me to grow and become a better writer. Rude and disrespectful tirades, nasty hate-filled rants, or "guest reviews" that simply nitpick for no good reason are not beneficial for any author. I have had many helpful conversations with other people who have given me suggestions or who have asked me for my opinion; I hold these authors and readers in very high regard. I assure you, one of my best friends on this Board and I do not always agree. We can agree to disagree and not be mean and rude about it. That's just how it is. What gets me is how some people are rude, mean, and nasty. I am talking about those people who simply exist to try and make other people feel bad. They hide behind the moniker of "Guest". Their sole purpose in life is to spread their misery as far as they can. Why? I can only imagine how alone someone must feel to need to attack others repeatedly in order to feel like they are some sort of success. How low must they think of themselves in order to have to cut others down that much? I am sure that they have realized they don't have the talent and ability to write themselves. They are jealous of those who do write and have people who review stories. Compliments on a story make them pea-green with envy and twist in their gut. They write a report about a story, they write a nasty review and try to make the author feel bad about themselves. They make personal attacks. If they aren't successful on one author, they attack the author's friends. They gloat about repeatedly reporting someone "just for the hell of it". They gloat about helping take down a story. For some, they set a goal that they want to "break the spirits" of a particular author. They select this person and bombard them with messages and reviews. They threaten them with reporting and getting their stories taken down. They search reviews and go after other authors. NEWSFLASH - THIS IS BULLYING! You are hiding behind your computer and bullying like a little punk on an elementary playground. If you bothered to look back at the crap that you have typed, you would realize exactly how childish you are. In fact, when you and I had this conversation that was exactly what you said. You were ashamed of what you had written to me. Now you are full of bluff and bluster, running off at the fingertips to a fellow author and dropping my name in the mix. Why? Why is this still going on? Best advice - Before hitting the "post" button, reread. Are you okay with having your name posted with this text? Then sign in. Post. Have a dialog. As an author, I want to hear from my readers. Talk to me. Be respectful. I will be respectful in return. Watching the WWE is a motivation for my stories. My favorite wrestlers are: Dean Ambrose Roman Reigns Seth Rollins Dolph Ziggler The Rock Antonio Cesaro SheamusWhat was the inspiration for my stories? Behind the Badge This began as a twist on the usual story. Instead of the guys in uniform, the girl is the one wearing the badge. This story became a way for me to cope with some difficult calls that our fire department handled, written from the point of view of a first responder and the support system that they need. Comfort When Roman was busted open yet again, this story had to be written. This man has had more stitches and staples... Computer Issues Self explanatory. Ugh. Fire Eater There are many stories (rightfully so) featuring The Shield in military or police roles. I wanted to take them in a different public service/injustice fighting direction. What if they fought fires? Traded SWAT gear for turn-out gear? As I thought, and fanned myself, a plot took shape and this story arose from the ashes...so to speak. Football vs Football With a playoff football game looming, I was inspired to write a story about American football compared to what the rest of the world considers football and how a couple could "discuss" which is the correct one. Wade Barrett or Sheamus? It was a toss up. Sheamus won. Maybe next time, Wade... Govern Me Goddess After "Stray Dog" and the response it got, I wondered if I could match or exceed it's heat and intensity. The muses worked overtime to try! It's Too Bad I started looking for stories starring Dolph Ziggler that weren't slash. There are loads of those but not an abundance of quality romance stories. I wanted to write a story that wasn't starring a former Shield member so this was "two birds, one stone". Last Chance at Love An idea began tumbling in my mind. I tried to set it to the side and finish two other in-progress stories, but the muse got possessive and violent. This muse put the other stories in a choke-hold until this story was started. So...the impatient muse won! New Beginning The idea for this story has been hanging around for a while now. I finally had to give in and write it. This was the story that made me jump into the world of authorship. It is complete. Maybe we will check in with the characters later for a sequel. This story has been removed and is now available only on Amazon with the new title Starting Over One Night Stand Having worked on several series for a while, I wanted to switch things up for a couple of days and work on a one-shot or two. Antonio Cesaro doesn't have a plethora of stories, so he got the luck of the draw. It doesn't hurt that he is such a well dressed man. Perfect in My Eyes Seth's picture issue caused a firestorm. How many women look like his former fiance? And the slim woman that he cheated with? That is enough to cause anyone to have issues. What if he is actually a nice guy, though? I pondered that thought. Riot I wrote this based on the riots that took place in Baltimore. My husband was stationed nearby. It is dedicated to and explains what it is like to be in this life as a family member sitting at home watching what goes on, worrying. People need to think before they spew their hatred and judge. She's Mine This was my first attempt at an "intimate" scene because I didn't want to mess up my full-length story. For my first attempt, I am rather happy. Shopping Incident My muses seemed to have run away while I was trying to update Writer. How do you get the muses to refire? I don't know. Mine took off on another story and thankfully it was just a one-shot. Surprise, surprise, Dean Ambrose stormed in. Show Me What I've Been Missing While on vacation, I wondered how the stars get to go on vacation with their families. How do they get a break? The muses began firing away and this is the story of a family that helped The Shield enjoy their vacation. Snow This was the result of a conversation I had with another author about snow and what would happen if Dean Ambrose/Jon Good were left unattended outside. We got a little silly with our conversation but my muse was enthralled. Thus this story came about. Stray Dog Dean Ambrose has a way of taking over things, doesn't he? This story was supposed to be a one-shot. So many people loved it and followed it that I am updating it when I have a chance. Teacher and Custodian I challenged myself to write a story without naming names or describing the characters but the story still needed to have quality. I had characters in mind when I wrote it. The first readers of the story were positive that they "knew" they had identified the characters, so it seems that the experiment worked! Wrestling the Teacher Several of the stories that I had been writing were rather "heavy" and I needed something "light"for a little while. This has more of my humor and irony that has only appeared sporadically in some of the other stories. Writer This story's inception came from a YouTube interview of Seth Rollins (youtube.com/watch?v=ywSD_b33KJM, starting at 9:55). Then I reread some of the reviews I had for some of the other stories I've written and some conversations I've had with an online friend. Obviously, none of these took place with Seth Rollins, or any other wrestler. But...what if? My brain started churning. And that is dangerous. That is how this story began. From there, the story takes a life of its own. This online friend has even reviewed 'Writer' as Seth and Dean! |
