![]() Author has written 12 stories for Merlin, How to Train Your Dragon, and Lord of the Rings. Ok, so before you start reading my stories you should know something. There might be some spelling monsters. They look like letters and they are oh so clever when trying to make your reading harder. Best way to protect your reading experience from them is to ignore them until you get to the end of the story. They don't usually try to follow you; they are such lazy creatures. But if they have grown too big (you can practically see their fangs) and ignoring them will endanger the reading experience of future readers please point them out to me and I will go and defeat those monsters. They can be beaten by only one weapon which they are madly scared of and that is language skills. With your help I can become more powerful and get rid of those nasty little creatures. Shortly: English is not my first language so please be patient and/or help me! Thank you!! Any pictures I use or will use on my profile are all either done by me or in the case of a photograph the picture is taken by me. A huge surprise; this is fanfiction, so I do not own the characters. I will not publish multi-chapter stories before I have written the whole story to the very end of it in fear of publishing something that I will never end. This is because I find it very frustrating when I read and get interested in a story only to find out it has been abandoned. "The Games" is not marked as complete since I publish new chapters for it every now and then - but every chapter is complete. It is a bunch of oneshots completely unrelated to each other outside of the "game" idea. Next, if you are interested, you can enter a little scene from my life that I describe below. I helped my friend. And my teacher saw how I helped her over and over again the best I could. Once I talked with my teacher, just the two of us. He said I was never going to be thanked for what I had done. Then he added, sadness in his smile: Not before God thanks you in heaven at least. He doesn’t believe in God. I knew he was right. My friend was the only one who could have thanked me and she wouldn’t. She shouldn’t, not when I still feel myself useless in her presence so often. But then my teacher says something and I feel like crying. He says: It’s really important to her what you do, what you have done. And it’s all the thanks I could ever have hoped for. Someone saw me trying and told me it was important even when I knew I would never be enough. Someone saw and told it was okay, better than okay, even when they, too, knew that I could never truly help my friend enough. It’s kind of teachers job to be wiser than those who they teach, isn’t it? Still this teacher is the only one I will remember as a wise man. I don’t know if he knows more about the world than the other teachers I have met during my life but that doesn’t matter. He saw more, he still does. Thank you for reading this far. I hope you will have an honor of meeting, even once in your life, a man or a woman you realize is wise and warm enough to show it. This is the part where I pretend I can write poetry in a foreign language; I can listen, I can write, But ask me to talk I only might. I can read, I can draw, But ask me to leap I fear I fall. I love the rain but hate to get wet, I love to dance but only when led. I love summer-clothes but prefer the winter, Its the snowy forests I was made to wander. Its silent and cold this world of mine, but the colder the day the brighter the shine. With these words if you so please, You are free to walk in the rain with me. Maybe you now know something about me. But you are not here for that, are you? I hope you will enjoy my little fics! (By the way, in the poem the part; the colder the day the brighter the shine, is valid. This I write here only because I think not all of you who read this are quite that familiar with the concept of freeze and snow. It is pretty normal that the sky is clear from clouds on the coldest days; hence the sunlight reflects really brightly from the snow. If you find this interesting; great. If not - thank you for your patience x)) |
