Author has written 13 stories for Harry Potter. I used to write Harry Potter fanfiction under a different pseudonym, but have lost my profile password and e-mail address due to not frequenting the site in several years. I will be uploading some of my old stories here later, but most of the currently displayed fics are new (Together they walked being the only exception; it was published under a different name before). I also have some Doctor Who fanfiction lying about my old computer, which I will upload at some point, too. Currently I'm trying to experiment with different writing styles by writing Fanfiction, hence the seemingly changing tone in each fic. I am a non-native English speaker, and I don't have a Beta, so there might be some issues with the prose. Sorry. Favourite pairings: Severus Snape/Lily Evans from Harry Potter The 10th Doctor/Rose from Doctor Who I'm also very interested in so called character studies of characters outside these pairings. Meaning fiction (usually one-shots) which intend to shed light on a particular character's personality or personal canon. *If you have enjoyed what you've read and have clicked on my profile to see if I have more stories, PLEASE leave a review, too! :) I love hearing what people think, what they like and what they dislike! Thank you :) * About my stories: As I mentioned, I'm experimenting with different writing styles, and that's why my fics are not very similar in regards to tone, description to settings etc. Also the characterisation may be slightly different in each fic (especially in the case of Lily, who is different in each fic, depending on what suits the plot and mood of the story). By the hand of a murderer: A one-shot, meaning that it won't be continued. This idea popped into my head when I started to think of how Lily would've reacted upon hearing a confirmation of Severus having joined the Death Eaters. As a member of the Order, she possibly did know about it before her death. No moment of charm born on bare soil: This was originally meant to be a short and light-hearted fic, but I half-accidentally started expanding it. In-progress, and I try to update at least twice per month. My only multi-chapter fic so far, ever. In retrospect, I wish I hadn't published any chapters until I had written more of it, because now the tone seems to change quite abruptly (at least I think so), and I wish I could have more control over the first chapters to foreshadow the latter ones. This is also meant to be a growth story for both Lily and Severus. I have received lots of reviews from the first chapters with people telling that my Lily is unlikeable, to which I reply: good. Mission accomplished. Lol. Red-haired girls, sea-glass eyes: I wanted to combine together an insight into Severus's feelings about Harry and regret over Lily's death, and to tie them (very) loosely together over my personal conviction that Severus probably influenced Lily's perception of what she wanted in a man at least up to some degree. Well, no more spoilers. Slughorn's Absolution: This is one of the first fics I wrote, and it actually basically wrote itself. I am convinced this actually happened! One of my personal favourites. I always did wonder how Severus reacted to suddenly having somebody like Slughorn around, who probably talked about Lily all the time. The Husband of Lily Potter: I wrote this in about 15 minutes. It's a crack-fic, and not really my usual style since it's Lily/James. But it's actually based on my head canon where I think the ultimate reason why James and Lily chose Peter as their secret-keeper over Sirius was, that James probably thought he was more expendable than Sirius was. Not only because he liked Sirius better, but because he probably thought that if he himself died and Lily became widowed with a child, Sirius could take care of her and the baby unlike Remus (due to his condition) or Peter (who was apparently less well off and probably not suitable 'daddy material' for Harry). The Prince's crown: I wanted to write a short fic of Lily and Severus as very young children; I think this would take place on the same summer they met the first time. And also because I was mean and wanted Severus to have this bitter-sweet memory. The Triumph of Sirius Black: I think that only as an adult, Severus probably saw the full extent of his mistakes regarding Lily. I think he always did feel in his heart of hearts that he would have had a chance with her if he played his cards right, but as an inexperienced and troubled teenager who probably feared rejection, he lacked the skills and understanding to make it happen. And also, I wanted some Severus - Sirius interaction. The Underpass: Possibly my first S/L fic? I can't remember! A pivotal moment when Severus would have had the chance to turn their relationship into something else, but chickened out. To fix a boring afternoon: wrote this quite swiftly, and it's inspired by a review (and the discussion between me and the reviewer) of The Triumph of Sirius Black, which made me think whether or not Lily ever had sisterly feelings for Severus, and if she didn't, would she have realised what it implies had somebody pointed it out to her. A very Muggle date: James/Lily, an almost crack-fic type one shot of what their first date might have been like. I wrote it for my friend Mey'sPen, who favours James/Lily. Personally I don't feel confident writing James/Lily because I have a hard time connecting them on an emotional level (due to years of Snilyism). However, the fic was pretty fun to write. Many details and locations in it are loosely based on my own experiences (though not the break-in, lol). Crow eyes shut: a short drabble. Summers, from Severus's point of view. Originally intended to be a poem. One of my personal favourites, but very unlike most my fics ('Red-haired girls, sea-glass eyes' is possibly the most similar to this one, but less stream of consciousness-style). Kreacher's Purge: I have been wondering for a long time why Sirius only had one letter written by Harry's parents in his possession. And why was the remaining letter from Lily, not James (you'd think if he threw away most letters, he'd rather keep his best friend's letter and not the letter from his wife)? And how did Severus know to come and search for it in the first place? This fic is my answer to all these questions, while also loosely exploring the difficult time Sirius had in his childhood home, and the antagonistic tension between him and Severus during this time. Also, implied Sirius/Remus, if you're up for that sort of thing. Together they walked: I actually wrote this in 2010 or 2011, making it one of my earliest fics. It is published under a different pen name here, but I have long since forgotten my password and e-mail for that account. I honed the fic a little before publishing it for the second time, because as I read it in retrospect I realise I had made such silly writing mistakes the first time around! (such as abruptly and accidentally switching from third person POV to first person in the middle of the story, then back). |
