History has a funny way of repeating itself. Rin and Sesshomaru are reborn together again in the midst of another warring state, this time in the modern world. Sesshomaru, considered by many the 'perfect assassin', has been raised to carry on his father's bloody legacy since he was a child, but his encounter with a war-orphaned girl will change everything all over again. Sessrin.

"You were afraid." Afraid? Desperate might have been more appropriate. Rin's coming into his life had been like a monsoon that followed a drought. Nothing in his life had been good, or kind before her. It had been empty, he had been empty. That day in the forest, it was not Rin who was saved, but him. One shot about the first time Sesshomaru and Rin reveal their feelings. Sessrin.

A post-canon continuation of Sesshomaru and Rin's feudal fairytale. Rin gave Sesshomaru the gift of compassion for life, in return, Sesshomaru leaves Rin in the village to acclimate to a life with humans until she is old enough to make an informed decision about her fate. Sesshomaru and Rin must decide what being in one another's lives means for both of them. Sessrin.

One-shot/drabble. "And what is it that makes Rin think I do not wish to kiss her?" "Well, you are not kissing me. I can only assume it is because you do not want to. Perhaps I am not to my lord's liking anymore…" I assure you, Rin, I desire to kiss you everywhere." Rin decides to interpret Sesshomaru's words a little differently to have some fun. Sesshomaru is not amused.

Angsty oneshot inspired by/based heavily on Hans Christian Anderson's story 'The Little Match Girl.' Rin finds herself all alone on a cold, snowy night with no money, no shoes and only a package of matches and thoughts of happier times to keep her warm. Possible expansion if enough people are interested/request it. Sess/Rin. Enjoy!
