Author has written 9 stories for Naruto, Legend of Zelda, Code Geass, Soul Eater, Vampire Diaries, Death Note, and Once Upon a Time. Hello! I am BabySealLover, and I love writing! Usually I write stuff that I make up on my own, but I thought I'd have some fun and give this a shot too:) I am a very shy, short girl with a knack for getting stressed out. I have been writing for years, but I am also interested in music, art, reading, and anime/manga! As you can see, I'm a bit of a nerd :) I love to sing and I can sit and write stories for hours on end. I have a rather mild obsession with the anime franchise. Now that I'm in college I'm even minoring in Japanese! It's a great language. My top 5 favorite anime are Code Geass, Black Butler, Fruits Basket, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and Ghost Hunt. I also have a love/hate relationship with video games, because they make me so angry... but I know I must love them because I keep going back again! I'm particularly a fan of the Legend of Zelda franchise. And I like Kingdom Hearts and Assassin's Creed. Current Projects: Kanata: This was the first Fanfiction I ever started writing, which takes place in the Naruto universe. It centers around my original character, Kanata, who returns to the Village Hidden in the Leaves after disappearing a decade ago. Now that she's back, there are secrets that she wants to keep hidden, but she quickly realizes that keeping those secrets may be more difficult than she thought. It's mainly a story of love and friendship. Other than Kanata, Kakashi is the central character, (since he is undoubtedly my favorite anime character of all time) but the story also follows Kanata's relationships with many of the other characters in the series. After an extended absence, Kanata must face emotional struggles and come to terms with her past in order to find the place she belongs. It certainly gets frustrating at times, but I love Kanata dearly. Currently, while I work on finishing up Part I in preparation for the sequel, Kanata is also under revision. The Witch's Madness: An idea that just popped into my head randomly and I decided to write about it. This is another OC fanfiction, but it takes place in the Soul Eater Universe. It's about a girl named Luna who can't remember who she is or where she comes from, but ends up taking refuge at the DWMA. Not really all that unique of a concept, I know... but I just got this itching to write it. Even I'm not entirely sure where this one is going yet, but the main reason I started writing it was because of Stein. I just love the guy and all his madness :) Edit: This fanfic has been canceled. My sincerest apologies to any followers of this story, but unfortunately I just can't bring myself to keep going with it for now. To me, it doesn't feel like it's going anywhere and I hardly ever update. Again, I'm truly sorry. Maybe someday inspiration will strike and I'll continue, or even rewrite it. But for now, it's off the table. The Vampire Diaries: Blood and Fate: Another whim I had and decided to go with. It's another OC story, which takes place around the start of The Vampire Diaries tv series. The OC is a vampire named Vivian who has long been friends with Stefan Salvatore, returning to Mystic Falls after some years away. I guess I have sort of an idea of where I'm going with it, and why, but I suppose I shouldn't disclose that information just yet. The Lord, the Little Girl: The story of teenage Rin from Inuyasha, her struggles in growing up and finding her place in the world. Death Wish: Who appears to be an ordinary girl working at a cafe in Japan unwittingly gets involved in the Kira case. My motivation for writing it was simply that I don't feel there are enough strong female characters in Death Note, so I decided to create my own. Plus, I'm interested in taking some liberties with complex characters like L and Light. One-shots: Always: I wrote this one-shot the day after finishing Code Geass because I simply couldn't shake off the marvelous, breathtaking, heart-wrenching finale. Oh, I could go on and on about that last episode for hours. But I noticed after watching it that some people had different theories about the way that it ended, so I decided to use one of those theories to my advantage and write a fanfiction to get the ending out of my system. And it worked :) I felt SOOO much better after writing it. It was nothing huge or elaborate, but I did get to go a little bit more into the bond between CC and Lelouch, which I definitely feel needed some more attention, anyway! Good Boy: My First Legend of Zelda one-shot, as well as the shortest story I've written for this site. It's very Midna-centric, mostly because I think Midna is one of the coolest characters in the Zelda Universe. I used this story to take a look inside her head and show a softer side of her directly after Zelda saved her life. I actually really enjoyed the way it turned out :) I'm No Hero: My second Legend of Zelda one-shot, taking place in Twilight Princess just as Good Boy did. But this one was meant to be centered on the friendship between Link and Epona. I've always felt as though Epona was quite an underrated character in the Zelda Universe. She's so sweet, and helpful for that matter. I got my inspiration from Twilight Princess, at the point where Link is a wolf and can talk to animals. And finally, we get to hear Epona speak. Some of the things she said, which were only a few, made me wish the game had delved more into her personality. But since it didn't, I decided to do it myself :) Light: A Rumbelle one-shot for Once Upon a Time. I have loved this show since the episode episode aired on ABC, and I immediately fell head over heels for the love story between Rumple and Belle (Probably because Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney fairytale) not to mention Rumple is super fabulous and Robert Carlyle is the perhaps the best of the best when it comes to acting. However, I have not been a big fan of where the show has taken Rumple's character or his relationship with Belle for a while now, particularly season 6. So, to make myself feel better I just wrote a little story :) It takes place after Rumple's meeting with the Black Fairy. In the Hour You've Known Me: I wrote this little Rumbelle one-shot for the same reason I wrote the other one, basically. This one, however, takes place in Storybrooke and it covers some of the stuff that goes on between Rumple and Belle after they are reunited and he brings magic to the town. Anyway, writing for a site like this has been a big thrill ride thus far, and I hope that I will be able to continue for a long time. Happy reading, happy writing, and I will see you all within the worlds of our written prose! |
