Author has written 2 stories for Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter. Okay, now that it's Spring Break (HUZZAH!) I can start writing again at a more usual pace, rather than random days whenever I can. I'm sorry for making everyone wait. If you care, I have compiled a list of the reasons why I have been so busy, just because it's rather humorous, not because I want your sympathy. I am working hard on the next chapter ("Losing Ground") so fear not, my lambs. After my gripe list, I've added a teaser of the next chappie per request of several people. The Evil List of Doom and More Doom: Well, wasn't that fun! tehe! I'm sure I've forgotten somethings... And now, the teaser: Malfoy leaned in the massive doorway, twirling his wand and looking painfully superior. "Move it, Malfoy," Ron said, pushing through. Suprisingly, Malfoy made no move to stop him, though he sneered wickedly at his back, cold grey eyes following his entering the castle, as Neville and Ginny came in behind. "Not you, Granger," Malfoy said, sticking his wand in Hermione's face as she tried to go through the doors and grinning, as though he had been waiting all day for this moment. "No mud-bloods allowed." "Come off it," Ron snarled, turning back towards the door to help Hermione. Hermione rolled her eyes, and walked forward into the entrance hall, only to be stopped and thrown out by Milicent Bulstrode. She landed in a heap on the front steps, dazed and infuriated. Students exiting carriages began to crowd around and stared bewildered at what was going on. "No mud-bloods allowed," Malfoy repeated, an evil sort of glint in his eyes, then he said to the crowd gathering about: "No half-breeds either." "This is absolutely ridiculous," Hermione snapped. "Let us in the school." "Only if your blood is pure," Pansy Parkinson cooed from Malfoy's side. "So you can tell your friend Potter that he isn't welcome, either," Malfoy drawled, then added: "That is, if you know where he is..." Ron pushed passed Malfoy and left the castle, standing on the steps beside Hermione. "If she can't go, then I won't either." "If you expect me to cry, Weasley, don't worry, I shan't," Malfoy replied. "You can't do this..." Hermione seethed. "You won't get away with it..." "The Order will stop you!" Ron said before he or anyone else could stop him. Malfoy smiled the smile of a man who knows more than he lets on to. "There's a new Order now, Weasley..." Hope you enjoyed! Chapter coming soon! |
