I'm a farm girl, and I love working with animals and living in the wide open spaces, hence my pen name. I grew up on old Westerns, and there's nothing like a cowboy in a white hat to make me swoon.

I love the wholesome family television shows from yesteryear. Daniel Boone, The Lone Ranger, The Rifleman, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, The Waltons, Bonanza, and Hogan's Heroes are some of my favorites. I also would have loved to live in the 50s and 60s.

Like John-Boy in The Waltons, I love writing and reading. Books are my friends, and I am always working on my skills in the writing craft.

Oh, and I'm a Christian and I'm not ashamed of it, so my morals and values will spill into my stories. Consider yourself warned!
