About Me

You may call me Alicia (pronounced uh-lee-sha, not uh-lee-cee-ah). I'm a mostly normal college student, majoring in English and education, trying to write fanfiction on a semi-regular basis, and really just trying to get through life one day at a time. I'm mostly chill unless you mention the Cold War, random history trivia, or whatever young adult novel I happen to be reading at the time.

I love reading and writing. At one point in my life, I wanted to be a novelist (I've also wanted to be an actress and the president, but that's beside the point). I've been creating stories for as long as I can remember, and I don't think I'll stop anytime soon.

Hetalia is really the only fandom I'm involved in unless anyone else wants to obsess over I Capture the Castle with me. Anyone? Yeah, I didn't think so.

I'm also on Tumblr! I'm everythingisdragons-sometimes there, so follow me and harass me about my writing. Please, I need motivation.

The lovely tulip shown in my profile picture was drawn by my multi-talented sister, SassyPantsJaxon. It's called "The Intentional Tulip," and it is the companion piece to her own profile picture, "The Accidental Hound." It's a tulip because they are my favorite flowers. More on that at another time.

About My Stories

Disclaimer: Many of my stories are human(ish) AUs, as I feel this gives me more freedom with the characters and their relationships. I have also been known to genswap certain characters at certain times, although this doesn't apply to anything currently published. If either of those bothers you, you know what to do.

Ghost Stories-Alfred had always been afraid of ghosts. Well, only the one ghost that had been following him for his whole life and happened to look just like him. After a chance encounter with this ghost, the two begin to build a strange friendship, and Alfred's life starts to fall apart-and maybe make a little sense, too.

Featuring America, Canada, and a lot of angst. Written for SassyPantsJaxon, completed over a year after she requested it (don't ever ask me to write a story for you). In all my years of writing, it's maybe the second story I've ever completed, so I'm very proud of it. Also recced by Ellawritesficssometimes (this is the second or third biggest honor I've ever received).

The Pirate and the Cowboy-Alfred and Arthur are a pair of china dolls that have always been together, but a deal made with a wooden man on another shelf places the life they have always know in jeopardy.

USUKUS, featuring guest appearances from China, France, and Russia. Written for the USUKUS Twice Per Year Collection and based on Hans Christian Anderson's story "The Shepherdess and the Chimney Sweep." Unoriginal title is unoriginal.

A Number One with a Side of an Awkward Crush-Alfred just got the job at McDonalds's so he could flirt with the cute cashier. This may not have been his best idea.

Written and edited in like two days, which is record time for me. Written for the USUKUS Twice Per Year Collection. Based on my own experiences working at McDonald's.
