- Sometimes I write fanfiction about my favorite movies and TV shows, or at least those that I think have more background stories to tell.

- I am a fan of animated movies such as Disney, Pixar, DreamWorks, Studio Ghibli, and Blue Sky, but ESPECIALLY Disney. I love watching some of the ol' timer black-n-white-screens movies and TV shows. I also like a little taste of Marvel.

Disney favorites: Definitely Big Hero 6.( WHEN ARE THEY GONNA MAKE A SEQUEL, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD) Frozen is second fav on my list, and Tangled is my third. As for something Disney-Pixarish, definitely Inside Out. As you can see on my profile picture, I absolutely love the Emotions and how they interact with each other!

TV shows: I like...The Blacklist, Blue Bloods, Longmire, The Flash, Once Upon a Time, Sherlock, Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys, We Bare Bears, The Twilight Zone, J-dramas, a LOT of anime...anything with a decent and intelligent plotline.

-I'm a closeted anime fan. Well, not anymore, now that I said it.

A bit about KoolKat:

-Writing style: it varies. Sometimes I want to write something serious and dramatic, occasionally to the point of making myself cry. Other times I will write something silly.(No wonder the Emotions mean so much to me: I'm so emotionally diverse!) But my main, secret ingredient is...*drum rolls please*...HUMOR!! Because if there's a good way to create audience appeal, it's definitely through laughter. Even in my otherwise dramatic stories. So, expect a little humor for every occasion.

- I like to stay in character within the fandom that I'm writing about. This includes:

- MY UPDATES CAN BE SPORADIC. Being such a nit-pick about my writing, I also tend to be slow. Even so, no matter how slowly I update, I will not EVER ditch a story without giving it its deserved ending. This I promise you.

- I write fanfiction way more than I bother to read others' works.

- I'm always super thrilled at getting new reviews. Admit it: if you are a ffc writer, you probably are too! ;)

- Flames actually tickle my funny bone. Not worth the hate.

KoolKat dislikes:

-Fanfictions that aren't double-checked.

-Super-duper-windishly-long profile pages.

-Sappy romances.

-Romance in general.(Okay, okay, I know I contradict myself with this statement(See my fanfiction works), but I have exceptions!!)

-Self-insertion - because I myself did it once, and now I can't face my work again.

-When writers pour out their entire personal life stories on their profiles and at the end of each chapter. I mean, I have no problem when people put out their likes, interests and little tidbits about themselves, but don't use this forum as your diary entries for random strangers to read. Like, what's the use when they probably don't care? Well, I know I don't care! And hey, there's a thing called Internet safety, too, 'kay?

-Completely out-of-character shippings, like when people ship Hiro with Gogo, and Anna with Hans. Why do people even do that?! The girl is way older than Hiro, and Hans tried to kill Anna! It doesn't make sense!

-Mary Sues/Gary Stus - my oh my oh my, THESE irk me to no end! As a writer, they are one of my worst fears, especially if I learn that my own OCs are one of them. *shudders*

SIGNS THAT YOU ARE A WRITER

You've dreamed of sitting in front of a computer and pouring out your heart on it.

You work out your thoughts better with pen and paper than discussing the situation verbally.

Spending Friday night with a beverage and a book sounds like heaven.

Your read everything you can get your hands on.

You frequently complain about the hardships of writer's block.

You own hundreds of notebooks.

The thought of being published makes you both terrified and happy.

You can never leave the house without a pen.

You get a little crazy with critiques.

You come up with brilliant ideas but have no idea how to start them.

Creating characters in your head is an enjoyable activity.

You constantly correct people on their grammar.

One more thing you have to know about me: I originally disliked fanfics. Yup. All of them. I preferred something original, NOT movie-based works that will not make it to the big screens. Luckily my sis got me interested by introducing me to AMAZING fanfic writers whose works were so enticing to read, and I was instantly hooked. Then I recently turned into a hopeless fangirl victim of several awe-inspiring movies( BH6, Frozen etc. *cough cough*), TV shows and anime. And THEN my bbff( best beta friend forever) Timeless Number 1 dragged me into this because she was raving about my fanfic ideas.

Kudos to Timeless Number 1 for supporting me! I wouldn't be here without you; writing just took on a whole new different meaning to me.
