Author has written 82 stories for Legend of Korra, RWBY, Star Wars, Borderlands, Overwatch, Red vs. Blue, Supergirl, Steven Universe, Strike Witches, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid/小林さんちのメイドラゴン, Highschool of the Dead, Girls und Panzer/ガールズ&パンツァー, and Fallout. Valkurion - My handle and pen name because what's more creepier than not knowing who someone really is right? What I will tell is that I'm an avid reader and more avid writer of romance, action and adventure, scifi and fantasy. I've got some original material but no one wants to read that stuff. You're here to read the stuff listed below. Most of the stuff I write and will write is; Legend of Korra, and Aang, Star Wars, Mass Effect, Halo, Fallout, Marvel and hell even DC if Warner gets their heads out of the their collective arses, Dragon Age, Battlestar Galactica (2003), Doctor Who (although I actually think about my long term story arcs and charaters). Recently I've been diving head first into Anime and Manga so if I were to ever go to there I'd probably do some stuff including YuGiOh, Rwby, Black Lagoon, possibly Dragon Ball, Pokemon, Digimon (are the champions), Highschool DxD, Love Live and maybe Everyday Life with Monster Girls because we're the internet so titties. Personal - I am Bisexual, Polyamorous, and Polygendered. I have a male, female and a gender neutral ratio of my psyche, so basically don't call me a girl/boy or sir/madam, just call me friend/dear/sweetie/dickhead, I like it a lot better. I also run an ask box over on Tumblr if anyone had any questions about anything to do with my works, my opinions on anything or even my life or alternatively you always message with any questions regarding fandoms, ships or works COMMISSIONS: If anyone would like to commission a piece of writing from me, please email me at valkurion7@ Favourite Ships and OTPS (it's all been a bit hectically lovely since January)
Things I will Never Write (So Please Don't Ask) Harry Potter Crossovers: It's not that I hate the books, I adore them. It's not that I hate the movies, I find them very enjoyable and Goblet is my favourite. It's that the fandom mixes itself with everything and it's pointless. I've seen Potter mixed with Mass Effect, Korra, even Star Wars and it grinds my gears, so I will never be a part of it, or unfortunately the fandom as a whole. That is not to say I won't write the odd yuri oneshot for it. I'm too queer to pass up Fleur x Hermoine or Luna x Ginny. Incest: Just no, well maybe, well depends on the ship and relationship and if it's abuse (And that basically means no Jinora and Ikki (Korra), no Jaina and Jacen (Star Wars EU), no Cersei and Jaime (Game of Thrones)) Reylo (Rey and Kylo Ren in The Force Awakens): Not only would this never happen outside of an AU, but if you're all like me you theorise that Rey is either a Skywalker or a Solo and therefore is his cousin or sister, and that's just nasty, the only worse love story than Twilight. In fact since I love Daisy Ridley so much I'd probably never even write her naked, I mean that face is just too cute. Underaged Sex: Because I live in the UK it means I'd never write something M rated or that involved sexual themes with someone under 16. For example this is why for Rwby, I'd never write Ruby in something with sexual themes, because she's fifteen. My limit for her, or for anyone under sixteen in an M or at a push T rated fic is some light sexual humor or at the most making out. If I write for a character who is underage and I include them doing sexual acts, they'll always be at least sixteen. The 'Bury Your Gays' Trope: By this I'm referring to the idea that two openly gay or queer characters begin to become involved romantically only for one or both of them two die and possibly be brushed aside. As a Bisexual myself I know what realistic representation of a queer relationship is; just the same as any other, they can live happily ever after. Believe me when I say I can torture a main protagonist or even a side one, regardless of their sexuality but after Clexa in The 100 and Pricefield in Life is Strange I just can't do it, it's unfair representation and bullshit to the fans after baiting throughout a work. My queer relationships will go through rough waters if they need to but in the end they'll get a realistic finale. Genderbending: I'm mostly referring to my ships here, and mainly the same sex couples. I'd only ever write it if it genuinely helped the piece in a good way but just writing it for the sake of showing what the couple would look like as a Hetero couple is just kind of offensive in my eyes. I mean it's just more 'societal normality' if that term even exists being shoved where it isn't needed. People are queer and that's a fact of life, you wouldn't look at Neil Patrick Harris and his partner and try to picture him as a woman or Ellen DeGeneres and her partner and wonder what she would look like as a man. Same goes for Korra and Asami for example, or Finn and Poe. So no, I won't genderbend in a romance piece or really any piece unless it fits, looks nice, feels nice and actually gives people something they ask for, and by people I mean a lot. There's enough Hetero representation in literature and there always will be, if that's what you want go look for it somewhere else. 'Sex God the Irresistible' Jaune Arc: This is a relatively new thing, and it disgusts me more than anything. Basically Jaune Arc from RWBY has been depicted in this light so much lately because the fandom is horrible and explosive. Many writers and artists have decided to portray Jaune (the weak and feeble noodle) as a sex god who can service any woman and who can never stand to be a sub. No. Jaune, if ever even in my fics for the duration will be sub until the end and will be borderline grey asexual because he does not know how to even talk to a woman. Not that any women in my stories will be into him aside from Cinder and Amber for now, either that or I'll make him straight up homosexual, because I believe the show would be much better if he was. Favourite Characters (and the Fandoms they come from) Mass Effect - Garrus Vakarian; He's my Chewbacca or my epic space boyfriend and I've adored him since I first met him in the Citadel Tower. Dragon Age - Leliana (Origins), Merrill (II), Sera (Inquisition); Leliana sweet talked me with the Orlesian accent in Origins and how the world was going to hell around us and yet she kept a positive outlook, focusing on stuff like shoes and dresses from Orlais. Merrill is the sweetest thing in the world and I can't help but romance her every single time I play through II. Sera is much the same, she's so childish when everyone else in the Inquisition is so serious and her nature and language made me fall in love with her. Legend of Korra - Kya; Korra and Asami are my all time favourite OTP so I don't think it's fair to say their both my favourite characters. I identify a lot with Kya, not only because she's one of the four queer characters on the show (even though we all know Lin is definitely not straight) but because she's a waterbender and the most sarcastic member of Team Avatar. Star Wars - Darth Vader (Movies), Jaina Solo (Legends), Ahsoka Tano (NEU); Vader is in my mind the most iconic villain in cinema history and always will be. He was the bad guy of my childhood because I watched Empire non stop as a kid. Jaina is my fav from the old EU because she is literally the Sword of the Jedi. She has a purple saber and is forced to kill her own brother and yet she still doesn't turn to the dark side. I also feel like so much of her was channeled in Rey from TFA, I just love Jaina and how badass she is. Ahsoka takes my spot from the new EU because again she's a badass woman, also my favourite alien species and she doesn't conform to the Jedi anymore and she plays on it a lot. Her voice actress also does a fantastic job with the dialog. RWBY - Yang Xiao Long or Pyrrha Nikos; Now I love every member of that show, besides Mercury and Adam Taurus but Yang was the character I went straight to. Her design is awesome, her weapons are brilliant and her semblance is basically mine whenever I play a tank in an MMO. Not only that but I followed her voice actress for a long time whenever she did something in Rooster Teeth overall, like I adore Barbara Dunkelman. Yang will always be my favourite character and she deserves to be happy with a certain faunus. On the other hand Pyrrha is my ultimate cinnamon roll and xena rolled into one and I relate to her on so many more levels. She does everything in her power to help those who need it, she's also the most fierce character in the show and sucks at telling her crush she likes them - my bae. Battlestar Galactica - Bill Adama; Simply this man did everything and anything to save his crew. He is a complete messiah in that show. Marvel - Carol Danvers (Comics), Tony Stark (MCU); Carol was the only superhero I really followed in the comics mainly because she looked fabulous as Ms Marvel and her backstory was brilliant. One storyline I really recommend and intend on writing when I do my Marvel stuff is 'Dark Reign: War of the Marvels' when Carol is forced to fight Moonstone when she takes her identity as Ms Marvel, it's just brilliant. None of that admiration is lost when Carol became Captain Marvel; she's just so strong and righteous, like Captain America but better and female which is always a plus for me. Tony is my fav from the movies because Robert Downey Jr is perfect for the role and brings so much comedy and life tot he character he actually made me care for Iron Man. Love Live - Hanayo Koizumi or Eli Ayase; I seriously can't decide. Hanayo is the cutest anime girl I've seen and her obsession with rice and the faces she pulls makes me melt, even more when her and Rin start being cute together. Eli-chi on the other hands is so beautifully designed even though she's so simple and her behaviour, the way she's so close with Nozomi and how she acts so retained, like she doesn't know how beautiful she really is. I love them both too much. Also, both are completely, overtly gay for their best friends and that is more obvious than Ted Cruz being the damn Zodiac Killer. Avatar: The Last Airbender - Toph; It's a tough choice between her and Katara, because both are strong female characters that refuse to conform to the societal norms (something that the creators of Aang and Korra do fantastically) but I think Toph takes the cake simply because she literally invents a new form of bending that no one has ever tried and she's twelve. She is twelve years old, blind, barefoot and she invents a new form of bending. Toph should be the Oxford Dictionary's definition of tank. Halo - Edward Buck; Not only is he voiced by the hilarious Nathan Fillion, who is also my bae Mal Reynold but he's just an awesome ODST and then the man becomes a Spartan. He has way more good dialog than Locke or Chief or anyone else and he's juts awesome, like how can someone not like Buck? Red Vs Blue - Caboose (Blood Gulch Chronicles), Agent Carolina (Project Freelancer), Felix (Chorus Trilogy); So because I'm a huge fan of RT, RvB is one of my favourite internet things ever, it was the reason I got into Halo I'm sure and of course the show that shovelled me to Rwby. From the first eight seasons I have to say Caboose is my favourite because he made me laugh the most I have ever laughed, especially in season six with Agent Washington, Joel Hayman is a voice acting genius with his characters. Carolina is my fav from seasons nine and ten not only because of her voice actress and how she looks exactly like Pyrrha Nikos only in aqua armour but because all of her combat sequences are elegant and stunning. Then Felix became my guy on Chorus because of his whole story arc and how his dialog and writing is cool. Doctor Who - Tenth Doctor; Not much of a challenge, David Tennant is the perfect Doctor, I started watching at the Cyberman two partner of season two of New Who and instantly fell in love with him. His evolution as the Doctor was brilliantly written, he reacted perfectly to his villains and his situations and I just adore him. Matt Smith also completely ruined his legacy and nearly destroyed the show for me but I can't blame an okay actor when the real problem is a terrible head writer *looks at the camera implying that Steven Moffat is the problem* Life is Strange - Kate Marsh; It was Chloe Price because I felt her pain on some levels but upon playing the game Kate now takes my top spot because of her innocence and how much more I identify with her strife. Protect the bun bun at all costs. Dark Souls - Solaire (Brolaire); Not that hard a choice really, and this is coming from the kind of geek who actually read the whole freaking lore. It was a string up between Brolaire and The Fair Lady but still the Warrior of Sunlight won the day simply because it's in his job description to be a bro. The guy will back you up against almost anyone and does not give a shit if you're a masochist or the Messiah. He is the ultimate Undead Bro. Fallout - Dad (3), Boone (New Vegas), Curie (4); There aren't that many decent characters for me in Fallout 3, unless there are and I'm forgetting, it's been a while since I replayed it again for the nth time. However your father is always there for you and is the whole reason you are thrust from the Vault. He even makes the ultimate sacrifice and goes out just like Qui-Gon, who is also Liam Neeson. In New Vegas I have to go with my man Boone, the guy had a rough time and was stabbed in the back and just deserved a good friend or someone who had his back after his backstory. Bless him. As for 4, I loved Dogmeat, but Curie is the cutest thing in that game and I shall disintergrate anyone who dares deny her. She is a robotic cinnamon roll and needs to be loved and educated on what it means to be human and be alive. She's like EDI only not as arrogant and way cuter. My Favourite Pokemon - Totodile; Always loved how viciously cute the little guy was and I picked him every time as my Gen 2 Starter. My Favourite Digimon - Veemon; The little guy will headbutt everything into submission and that's awesome. His digivolutions and armour digivolutions are just badass, plus they're all voiced by Steve Blum who is Grunt from Mass Effect so yeah, Veemon rules. |
