Disclaimer: As anyone should be able to infer from de fact I post in a website called Fanfiction.net, I own barely nothing of what you can see in my story, aside from the parts of the plot that deviates from the original storyline and a few original characters you don't recognize. I, in fact, don't even own that in the story "Harry Potter y la Nueva Oscuridad", as I only post it here from it's original site with the permission of the author (and am sorely tempted to delete it as it hasn't been updated in ages!). I gain nothing from these stories aside from my own amusement and perhaps the praises and criticisms I could recieve from readers; and those I graciously share with J. K. Rowling and any other party owning rights over Harry Potter for their genius in creating and publishing it. It is thanks to them I can write this story, as it's based on their work.

AN: Reviews, altough apreciated, are not a requierement to the continuation of my story, as I write it for my own pleasure and as a means to get myself out of writer's block when working on my own original story. It's because of that I won't be influenced in any way whatsoever by your comments. I won't update faster at your urging, nor will I make any changes to the plot to suit your desires. I know there is no way for me to please everybody, so I won't be even attempting to do it. Whoever likes it is welcome to read it, and those who not can seek for another story that fits better with their likes, as there are a lot of stories in this site only, nevermind the whole net.

I will read every review and analize it, though, as it is always possible someone finds inconsistences or mistakes I overlooked (I'm human after all, and entitled to make mistakes every now and then) and should be corrected. I'll try hard to prevent that from happening, of course.

The story will be based on my own interpretation of the magical world created by Rowling, and there is the possibility that some stuff doesn't match cannon, but I'm writing an AU, so deviations of cannon are to be expected in more ways than the plot.

If after all that you still want to read the story, be my guest. I really hope it serves for your amusement as much as most of the stories I've read here in FanFiction.net have done for me.

About ships: For reasons you will find out in future chapters, Harry won't be in any romantical relationship while having an active sexual life. There won't be any slash relationship for any of the main characters. I'm not against homosexuality in any way whatsoever, but I don't particularly enjoy it myself, either. There could be mention of slash between other characters, though. Even then, it would be only in passing.

04-02-2006: Chapter 2 is finally updated! Hell, it was a pain to write. I've lost count of how many times I've had to rewrite things to make sense. Attempting to dish out as much information as posible while not being overwelming with the explanations has proved to be more than a handful. I don't know if I managed to do it in the end, but I'm sure I can't do it better, so here it is. Love it or hate, I was on the verge of abandoning the fic with so much frustration. Not to forget how boring it is to write so many times the same thing! Hopefully, chapter 3 will prove to be easier and a lot more entertaining to write.
