So you're reading my author page?I'll bet it's times like this that we all wish we had something better to do. But since you've been so kind as to take interest in me, I'll tell you a bit about myself.

I'm 21 anda completelyaverage garden variety college student. I live in New York but not in New York City, so I guess that means that I'm also an American. But hopefully anyone reading my stories won't be able to tell that.

I'm a big fan of Harry Potter and have read and re-read all the books many times, as well as read fan fiction for a number of years. I finally decided to stop watching from the sidelines and actually submit something for myself.

I hope you all enjoy reading my stories, feel free to write me e-mails if you don't want to review a story, or if you just want to talk about whatever.

Fics that I like: Where Harry becomes powerful after some form of training

When Harry develops relationships with girls that are somewhat realistic

Fics that I hate: When Harry becomes super powerful in a matter of minutes, and that includes stories that say something like "and after 20 years of training in a realm where time passes 20 times slower than normal, Harry returned powerful enough to crush Voldemort with a single thoguht, but for some reason he just can't find 2 minutes to go and do it"

When Harry falls instantly in love with someone, who instantly falls back in love with him and that includes something like, "I've never noticed before, but you've grown into such a beautiful wonderful person, I just can't help but fall in love with you," "Oh, Harry, I've always been in love with you but have never been able to say it until now" For the love of God, don't just cheat and make a perfect relationship out of nothing, spend some actual time on it, develop it, and then the relationship actually will seem like it might actually happen. Where's the drama in everything being perfect with no work or anything put into it? Just lousy, and lazy writing.

When Harry falls in love with Malfoy or Snape. The idea is not original, it's been done about a million times each. There is absolutely nothing new to add with those particular slash relationships. And I mean come on! Malfoy and Snape both hate Potter and vice versa. There is nothing that anyone could ever write that would actually convince me that they could become lovers except under the effects of love potions or spells (but that's been done about 3,000 times)

Okay so that's me bitching . . . sorry, but there were just some things there that needed to be said.
