He was damned and there was absolutely nothing he could do about it. Because you see, the great Sherlock Holmes was dead, kaput, finito, and now he had no other option than to roam the halls of this abandoned mess of a house —with horrible antique decoration— as a ghost.

He would be lying if he said he hadn't decided to settle on this place as a regular because of the young man that came in everyday and stared longingly at the window for hours.

John freaked out when he realised he was actually housing a person from another planet. Sherlock looked more surprised at having crashed his ship than he did at landing on a different world.

This was usually how things went between them, they both acted like complete idiots and angry words were exchanged until someone's feelings got hurt.

He believed it was understandable, since his freedom and basically the rest of his life -however long it will be- were on the line.

A bunch of events resulting in him somehow being thrown into the show machine before he knew it, yet now at his twenty eight years, it was frankly getting rather tedious.

The figure that opened the door didn't look surprised to see him there at all, yet he looked quite disappointed at the state in which he was.

He hates working, mind you, and the early hours are brutal, but the regular customer he has at 7:05 am every day, well him he doesn't hate.

The few telling signs quickly let him know why they had suddenly stopped talking the second he had arrived: it was about John. And wasn't it always?

Sherlock had never believed in miracles, nor he deluded himself with thinking that if he asked an impossible character for something, his heart's desire would be delivered. The fact that it was Christmas was inconsequential. Johnlock.

Grave-risen Sherlock misplaces an important part of himself, but gains something even better.

Cause: Sherlock makes a mistake at begrudgingly trying to follow Mycroft's advice. Effect: He accidentally encourages John to go out with an intern from the Yard. Results: The only solution is to crash said date and make John realise his mistake. Obviously.

When another bout of sudden melancholy hits the detective, John struggles to help his boyfriend.

If you were to ask anyone about Sherlock and John, the answers would inevitably be different between one person and the other, but they would irrevocably have at least one thing in common: every one of them would agree John is a saint for keeping up with Sherlock's hurricane-like nature.

Sherlock is forced to contemplate at length the sort of affection he holds for John at said blogger's wedding.
