Hey guys, I am Scarlet and I am a UK based fangirl.

To start with the boring basics, my favourite books are anything written by Neil Gaiman, Twilight, The Hobbit and the LoTR trilogy. To be honest, I am a massive fan of adventure fantasy and love incorporating those themes into my fanfics and of course, reading about them.

As for movies, I am a lover of anything Marvel. The MCU has done a fantastic job of brining beloved characters to life, but out of all the characters, my favourite has to be Bucky Barnes. Lastly comes anime, oh the bane of my existence. I have too many favourites to list, but if I had to be a specific top five, I guess it would have to be Naruto, Fairy Tail, One Punch Man, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Fullmetal Alchemist (in no particular order because doing so would kill me inside).

Skyfire

An Older!Wendy x Older!Romeo fic where a mishap on a job end up with both mages minds, souls and magic becoming one. Chaos ensues in their attempt to both navigate their bond and hide their romantic feelings for one another. I wanted to try my hand at something light hearted and to also focus on a fannon pairing I was interested in. Also there are mentions of Nalu, Jerza, Gale, Gruvia as well as a one sided Chendy and mentions of other pairings.

Into the Abyss

A Harry Potter and Fairy Tail crossover where Lucy is reborn into the Potterverse after the battle with Achnologia (did I spell that right?) on Tenroujima. I am a big fan of the characters being reborn trope in general and more so when they are based on two fandoms with similar ideals. In this case being magic. The story is being rewritten because the original was riddled with mistakes and I had made choices that I had come to regret and wanted to rectify. The original version (The Abyss) still exists, so feel free to read and witness the magic first hand.

Lilac

A Harry Potter next generation fic, where Hugo Weasley falls for Cassiopeia Malfoy, the OC daughter of Draco and Astoria. Heck I am a sucker for romance and wanted to right a Romeo & Juliet-esque fic but without the dying and bam- this fic was born. I loved writing this fic because I really wanted to see something Hugo-centric as most of the next-gen fics were centered around the other kids, leaving poor Hugo.

Fanfics I would love to write.

Something in the Twilight verse. Perhaps something where other supernatural creatures can be introduced.

Fairy Tail and Fullmetal crossover. Similar to 'Into the Abyss' where one of the characters are reborn into the Fullmetal verse.

Naruto and Fairy Tail crossover. Perhaps having Team Natsu join forces with Naruto to help protect the jiinchuriki's.

Pairings I love and might use

Naruto:

Naruto x Hinata: It's a wholesome pairing. Like have you seen The Last. Yes, the pairing needed more development in the show, but there are some wonderful fanfics out there that do a great job of developing the pairing and justifying its existence. The whole idea of loving someone since childhood is just too pure and I think someone like Naruto who had the upbringing he did, deserves someone as kind as Hinata.

Naruto X Sasuke: Say no more. Whether this pairing is Yaoi or hetero, I love it. I could write a full length essay on these two and why this pairing makes sense although, I am aware that it can be perceived as a toxic one. There are some good fics which address this.

Fairy Tail:

Natsu X Lisanna: Another wholesome pairing. To me, it seemed like they were each others first loves, heck, they even played house together. Plus I don't think Natsu was that oblivious to name a girl as Happy's 'mother' without thinking of the implications. Honestly, I feel that they did this pairing dirty once it revealed that Lisanna was alive and returned back alive and personally would have loved to have seen more scenes with them together even as a platonic pairing.

Natsu X Lucy: I don't hate this pairing at all but I feel that both parties have chemistry with so many others as well as with each other. When they are in scenes together, I can see the potential as a couple, but then when they interact with others I end up second guessing their compatitbilty.

Lucy x Loke: Ever since 'The star that fell from the heavens episode' I have been in love with this pairing, but then it was never really explored and Loke's affections r admiration towards Lucy was brushed off as a gimmick. I love fics which explore their relationship outside of their partnership as a summoner and the summoned, as I think its downright beautiful how Loke can bring himself to the human world if he perceives Lucy to be in danger.

Levy X Gajeel: Love. The way Gajeel treats Levy is different to anyone else in the guild. I love fics which address the way they first interacted and use this as a plot device to explain why their relationship changed in Gajeel's journey for redemption. Also, this pairing was one of the first cannon pairings from the series and I'll be waving the Gale flag till I am old and grey.

Gray X Lucy: I like this pairing, but if I was to use it, it would be one sided and used as a plot device for another pairing. Oops.

Lucy X Cana: Now, this is a pairing that I have seen used in quite a few fics and yes, I shipped it and still do. I'm not a fan of Yuri or Yaoi pairings just for the sake of it being there, but these two really seemed to care for each other. Or maybe that's just me with my shipping goggles.

Harry Potter:

Harry X Luna: Love, love, love this pairing. I have stood, stanned, sat for this pairing since I first read The Half Blood Prince Harry understood Luna and vice versa. She helped him feel normal when others demonised him and he treated her like a friend. I'm kinda sad that nothing became of them after Slughorns party but alas, that's what fanfics are for! I don't hate Harry X Ginny or Luna X Neville but I prefer to see non cannon pairings in the Potterverse.

Hermione X Viktor: Though this pair was cannon, albeit for a short time, I wish that they stayed together. Viktor was the first person to fully accept Hermione for who she was. He saw the beauty within her when others didn't and I am kinda sad that nothing came of them. He was a true gentlemen towards her.

Draco X Hermione: Something draws me in about this pairing. I'm not sure what it is.

Crossover Pairings I like and might use:

Naruto / Fairy Tail:

Sasuke X Erza: I've read a few fics pairing these two and though I would never write this pairing myself, I like it. I guess its because in some ways Sasuke is similar to Jellal. From trying to kill his friends to his arc of redemption.

Twilight / Harry Potter:

Edward X Harry (slash or het): I've read a few fics pairing these two together and they are cute. Maybe I'll dip my toe into the Twilight waters one day.

Pairings I don't like and most likely will not use.

Naruto:

Naruto X Sakura: I was never a fan of this pairing mainly for the way Sakura used Naruto in cannon. I have seen fics with this pairing and though they can be good, I personally would never use this pairing.

Sakura X Sasuke: Again, I was never a fan with how this pairing was portrayed in cannon BUT there are some amazing fanfics which make this pairing work. Of course, 13 year old me does not agree with this pairing but adult me will tolerate it if it is written well.

Fairy Tail:

Lucy X Gajeel: No.

Lucy X Laxus : No

Lucy X Sting: No

Lucy X Rogue: No?

Wendy X Mest: Hell No. I just don't feel comfortable reading about or writing this pairing. I may give it a shot if Wendy a) never went to Tenrou and aged normally or b) Wendy was aged up/older. Otherwise it just comes across that Mest is some sort of lolicon pervert.

Harry Potter:

Harry X Hermoine: To me they are platonic and more like a brother and sister. I can understand why people ship them, but I don't think they would be a good pair.

Hermione X Ron: I am in two minds about this pairing. I respect it but I think that it is and was a little dysfunctional at times. I don't think I would write anything pairing them together unless it was next gen related.
