Medic is known for his inane skill in most fields of sciences, chemistry though not so much. But what were to happen if a certain baseball bat wielding menace were to unknowingly poison his whole team with one of the resident doctor's new "experiments"?

Heavy and Zhanna go back to their home in Siberia for Smissmas, bringing their respective partners — Medic and Soldier — with them. As with most families, not everything goes according to plan. Will they be able to put their differences aside long enough to enjoy the holiday?

News that there will be no further shipments of plasma to the base struck a nerve with Medic. Which is strange, since the team never receive regular blood transfusions. Something's ruffled his feathers and Heavy is sent in to find out what. [No explicit gore, some Medic headcanons and a little Heavy/Medic if you squint, but it's not too in your face or whatever. A Medic is faced with his daily challanges and battles - but as he settles into his team and family, a terrible vendetta leaves him at the will of an unforgiving enemy, with only his iron will and hope to survive. General fluff at some points, gore at others. Slight man on man at times.

Every so often the blood and violence isn't enough. He does not know why. When not even his experiments can lift his spirits, Medic finds he needs something else to snap out of it.
