Hello,

I decided to check my bio today because much has changed since I penned one. There have been many changes in my life that affected how and why I write.

I was born in 1955 and I really am my mother's fifth child. My mother meant very much to me. She survived my father by thirty-two years, but time catches up with everyone and my mother passed away September 21, 2015. She was ninety-two years old; a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother and a great-great-grandmother. She actually had eight children but lost her first son in 1943 when he was eight months old and another son in 1980 when he was thirty-three. Since she died I have had a few of my siblings say I was her favourite, so I now have something to live up to.

I read mysteries, science fiction and romances and have discovered that most good books have an element of romance in them. Who knew? I watch NCIS, Grimm, The First 48, and Covert Affairs. I also love old movies, especially musicals, film noir and Universal horror.

My avatar is Ariel, my youngest great niece. She's so funny, her personality of already a little bent... just the way it should be. Her birthday is the day before mine and I'd rather have her picture for all to see. It was that or a picture of my broken toe.

I don't know if I will be writing much anymore. There are things I have been trying to do that have been not been accomplishing, so all I ask are good thoughts that things will move creatively again.
