Author has written 3 stories for Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V. I'm just a guy who likes to write stories about the things I like. Fan of Yu-Gi-Oh! (all series except VRAINS, my favorite is Arc-V), Kamen Rider, Pokémon, Monster Hunter, Dynasty/Samurai Warriors and it's crossover series Warriors Orochi, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Vocaloid, and many other things. I'm really proud of Pact of Destruction. When Pendulum Summon was announced, I was actually really happy about it and the two new Pendulum Zones, because The Wicked Eraser was an excellent counter. Not only did it counter the mass-summoning potential, the new Zones boosted Eraser's potential max Attack. So even then, I had ideas about Arc-V and the Wicked Gods. Then, Berserk Mode and the two Magicians, formerly known as Magician's of Creation and Destruction, were created. Their designs and names (though inaccurate) created the God of Destruction Theory. Now, The Wicked Eraser's Ability pretty much screamed God of Destruction, so as you can imagine, I was starting to get ideas and my own speculation, but I never made a story, either out of shyness or lack of motivation. Fast-forward to Episode 125 and inspiration finally hit me. I wrote Pact of Destruction and released it before watching Episode 126 were Leo reveals the truth about Real Solid Vision, which I didn't realize the implications until a reviewer pointed out an interesting fact. I already addressed those things in the Author's Notes. What really makes me proud of this story is how in hindsight, it's brilliant. After reading a particular comment about the origin of Pendulum Summon, I realized the following: Pendulum Summoning was created thanks to the four cards used to defeat Zarc, which represented the power of life. The Wicked Eraser, in my story, was referenced as the God of Death and Destruction and such (it was probably the original intent of the card too). Not only was Eraser a counter game-wise, but lore-wise, it was the perfect opposite. Pendulum Summon created new Zones and encouraged mass-summoning, something that against The Wicked Eraser, is a big disadvantage, and the En cards that led to it's creation are all Continuous Spells that have no effect on The Wicked Eraser. It's such a nice coincidence and it makes me really proud of my story. |
