Author has written 4 stories for Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy VIII, Naruto, and Vampire Diaries.

June 16, 2015: UPDATE about The Sound of Silence. If you Favorited my penname, you probably noticed that I posted a story for Vampire Dairies. As for The Sound of Silence, which I haven't updated in over six years, I DO plan on writing and posting another chapter, and, ultimately, completing it. The problem I have with the story is that my writing has, I like to think, vastly improved in the six years since I began the fic. Simply put, I badly need to edit the previous chapters, and I have a major problem with the big reveal concerning Sasuke that I want to change. All that needs to be done before I can even think about writing another chapter. However, I do have two pages written for the update. So, hopefully I'll get off my lazy butt and do all that, and finish, soon. The seventh chapter is tentatively titled Regrets Are Left Unspoken, a line I borrowed from Seether's song Rise Above This.

March 27, 2009. The Sound of Silence is finally updated! FINALLY!

The video I was talking about, True Naruto Style. Just copy and past this link into your web browser:

How The Sound of Silence came into being: I read a lot of bandslash on Livejournal. Hey, don't judge me. I'm not going to divulge what band nor the pairing; I don't want to embarrass myself any more. Well, anyway, I was reading a story and it consisted of one of the guys in a mental hospital and I was like, 'I can do that!' I was unsure what fandom I wanted to write it in, and I was actually leaning towards Bleach, but I couldn't decide on a pairing for the story.

So I chose Naruto. Sasuke worked perfectly with what I had in mind for the institutionalized person. The story grew from there. My best friends Matt and Joey have been a tremendous help with this fanfic, and it would never have gotten this far without their input.

Name: Jennifer Kristen Rose

Nickname: Krissy or Jenn. If you call me Kris I will kill you. I'm a girl, not a boy! Kris is a boy’s name!

Birthday? February 18

Age: I am twenty-seven years old!

Single? Yes. And loving it!

Where Do I Live? I don’t know why you would want to know but I live in Southington, CT. If you stalk me I’ll have to hurt you.

What School Am I Attending? I am now going to Tunxis Community College for Business Office Technology.

Favorite Song In the Whole Entire World? That has to be 99 Red Balloons, redone by Goldfinger.

My passions go in many directions, which sounds incredibly wrong. I have such a wide variety of tastes that it amazes people(I’m not lying about that). For example:

Types of Music: EVERYTHING except country! I listen to: Ska, heavy metal, techno, rap, oldies, classical, new age, disco, punk-pop, metal, grunge, other world music(AKA German, Spanish, etc. etc.), Christian, Opera, theater, Rock, Classic Rock, Classic metal…I think I’m forgetting something too.

What I mainly listen to, though, is Ska and metal.

Music Groups? Five Iron Frenzy, Reel Big Fish, Disturbed, Panic at the Disco, Pink Floyd, Less Than Jake, Evanescence, Seether, Nirvana, Stonesour, The Doors, Slipknot, Rammstein, The Who, Aiden, Matchbook Romance, Nickelback, Green Day, Simple Plan, Mariah Carey, Motion City Soundtrack, The Killers, My Chemical Romance, Blue October, Senses Fail, Five Knuckle Shuffle, Three Days Grace, HIM, AC/DC, Eminem, Stutterfly, Blindside(RIP Drummer!), Brave Saint Saturn, Drowning Pool, Harry Chapin, Brave Saint Saturn, Gwen Stefani, Papa Roach, The All-American Rejects, Chevelle, POD, The Insyderz, Blink 182, Flogging Molly, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, Streetlight Manifesto, Dane Cook(Yes, I know, he's not a singer, but he's still great), Lewis Black, The Black Eyed Peas, The Used, Linkin Park, A New Found Glory, The White Stripes, Queen, Korn, Stephen Lynch, Phantom Planet, The Aquabats, Chimaira, Underoath, Lamb of God, The Goo Goo Dolls, Puddle of Mudd, AFI, Sum 41…I could go on forever.

Random Question of mine: Am I one of the only people that has listened to My Chemical Romance's first CD I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love? In my opinion(Which I know doesn't really matter)it's their best CD and MUSIC yet. All of the songs are catchy, and Gerard sings with a raw emotion that has yet to make an appearance on any of their new CD's. I wish stations such as MTV(coughyeah rightCough)would play their older songs. And that's yet another reason why Fuse rocks, because I've seen two of their old videos on that channel, while MTV has yet to play one.

Current Music Obsession(s)? Nothing right now.

Favorite Music Group of All Time? Streetlight Manifesto. Hands down. I love them. I've seen them in concert twice; once when I was still going to CCSU, and then again with my then best friend Matt, and also my brother James and his friend Kim. Both concerts were amazing.

Favorite Singer? Reese Roper of the former band Five Iron Frenzy, a Christian Ska band. I know what you're thinking: "Eww, Christian music?" Trust me, they're good. They do sing a lot about God, but in an uplifting manner, and they have some really funny, none related Christian songs, such as the 'These Are Not My Pants: Opera", which is five songs(all short)and utterly ridiculous. And than there's one of my favorites, 'You Can't Handle This' which Reese claims is 'the nerd national anthem'. And perhaps strangest of all, 'The Untimely Death of Brad', which is about how one concert Brad, their trumpet player, didn't show up, and the next day, all the message boards claimed that Brad had died.

What Concerts Have I Been To?

Reel Big Fish(X3): Friday, November 19, 2004; Friday, July 01, 2005; Friday, January 23, 2009

Streetlight Manifesto(X2): November 12, 2007; Friday, January 23, 2009(They were un-fucking-believable! So good!); April 25, 2009(They were, of course, simply amazing!)

Stephen Lynch: Thursday, April 26, 2007

Evanescence: Saturday, March 31, 2007

Panic At The Disco: Saturday, May 10, 2008

Books? I’m a big Fantasy/Romance/Supernatural person. Especially if you can combine all three. One book I highly recommend, is the Count of Monte Cristo. Be prepared for a little confusion, though; the book is old, so the author uses some outdated words, not to mention a crap load of...I think it's French. And the author has an annoying habit of talking about both the father and son, or mother and daughter, who are in the same room, which can get pretty confusing.

For example: The Count of Monte Cristo will be addressing Alfred and his father Fernand. So he'll go, "Monseuir Morcerf". Insert confusion. You have to read ahead to figure out who the Count is really addressing.

What Game(s) Am I Currently Playing? As of right now I am playing Dragon Age Inquisition and Borderlands 2.

What Games Have I Beaten? Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, Kingdom Hearts, Golden Sun, Dragon Age Origins, Dragon Age II, Borderlands I and II, Guacamelee, Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, and Dragon Warrior VIII. Pathetic, I know, but I'm trying to add more to the list.

Obsessions? I know that I’m starting to ramble so I’ll wrap this up fairly quickly. Here goes:

My two main obsessions revolve around the Supernatural fandom, which I discovered two summers ago. I stumbled across a Wincest fanfic, and it mentioned that one of the brothers, Dean, had nearly died after being electrocuted. It caught my attention, so I researched Dean Winchester, realized his actor, Jensen Ackles, is really hot, read about the show, and thought it sounded interesting. I bought Season One on blind faith alone, having no idea if I'd even like the show, and started off with the episode "Faith" where Dean is electrocuted, and really, really liked the episode. I watched the whole season in a couple of days, then I bought Season Two, and Three, and Four, and was all caught up by the time Season Five premiered on the CW...

...Which lead me to fanfiction. I pretty much am solely in the Supernatural fandom. I read mainly Wincest, but I will sometimes read Castiel/Dean or even Gabriel/Dean. If I'm not writing, then I'm reading Supernatrual stuff. My prior fanfiction fandom used to be Bandom, mainly FOB or PATD, and then it was Merlin for about a year...but it's been all Supernatural since the summer of 2009.

I also love the Boston Red Sox. I don't know exactly when I started to love them, but it was long before they won the World Series. I remember I used to watch their games versus the New York Yankees on Fox. That was before we got cable, so the only games we got were those. I rooted for the Red Sox because they were the underdogs, always falling short and never succeeding. I could relate to them.

I was watching the fateful ALCS game against the New York Yankees. The reception was terrible in my room, so I went out into the living room, where the station wasn't so staticky. My mother was sitting there and she just became entranced by the Red Sox; she put down the book she was reading and watched the rest of the game with me. Even though my mom didn't know anyone on the team and knew nothing about baseball, she ended up liking the Red Sox. She was just as upset as I was when Aaron Boone hit the homerun off of Tim Wakefield.

I have seen the Boston Red Sox: July 30, 2005(Vs. Minnesota Twins), August 13, 2005(Vs. Chicago White Sox), July 30, 2006(Vs. Anaheim Angels), August 18, 2007(Vs. Anaheim Angels), July 12, 2008(Vs. Baltimore Oriels) and July 11, 2009(Vs. Kansas City Royals).

My Mom shares my love of the Red Sox, and she got satellite just so she could watch the Red Sox games on NESN. Go figure.

I am twenty-three years old yet I LOVE Nickelodeon’s The Fairly Odd Parents and Danny Phantom and Disney Channels Kim Possible. Don't even ask about that. Ahh, the mind numbing hilarity of ten year old cartoons…

Final Fantasy. I do not claim to know a lot about the games yet I love to play them. I’ve played Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy X, and Final Fantasy X-2. The only one that I have yet to beat is Final Fantasy VI(Damn you Kefka!)…

I have an unhealthy obsession with Final Fantasy X. It’s not my favorite Final Fantasy, though, that’s VII. I love Yuna from the game. I admire her courage and perseverance, and her willingness to sacrifice herself for the benefit of others. I don’t think I’d be strong enough to do what she did.

Okay, and last of all what I hate. If you’re still reading than what are a couple more paragraphs?

What do I hate?

I hate bigots, racists, people who aren’t willing to try new things, my backstabbing ex-best friend, Jason W, my ninth grade Spanish teacher, and my eleventh grade Chemistry teacher, Britney Spears, Fallout Boy, Coldplay, Hawthorne Heights, the people who don't pick up after themselves at my work, Sasuke's emoness(Don't even get me started on that unless you want to hear me rant for about twenty minutes!), Cattie-Brie from the Forgotten Realms, the Yami/Seto pairing, being forced to go to college for an education! PEOPLE WHO DON'T SIGNAL WHEN CHANGING LANES ON THE HIGHWAY! Studying for tests, proofreading my fanfics, Yugioh GX, Misty from Pokemon, TV commercials, Cameron from the TV show House, Audrey from 24, Morgan Webb from X-Play, over hyped TV shows that turn out to be crap, SPAM(as in the computer type), how much new games cost…

Top Five Favorite Shows of All Time:

One: Supernatural--I got into the show in the middle of August because a fanfic I was reading mentioned Dean nearly dying after being electrocuted. I couldn't find the episode online, and after reading the synopsis of the first season, I bought it. And I was hooked. I then bought season two, after I read Dean nearly died AGAIN in the first episode of season two, after the car crash at the end of the first season. I quickly bought Seasons three and four, and was all caught up by the time Season five premiered.

Two: House--I love Doctor Gregory House. My then best friend got me into the show in the middle of the second season. I'm a rabid House/Cuddy fangirl.

Three: Scrubs--Matthew also got me into this show. I love it, it's so hilarious! I love JD! And Doctor Cox is funny, too.

Four: The Fairly Odd Parents--It's a kid's show, I know, shut up, but I don't care. It's funny and goofy, and I love it to pieces. Who cares if I'm twenty-one and love a children's show? There's nothing wrong with that in my eyes.

Five: X-Play--It's a half hour show revolving around video game reviews. The hosts Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb are narcissistic, sarcastic people who make fun of anything and everything. They manage to make reviews for games I could care less about, AKA racing and strategy games, interesting with jokes and random skits. Random Fact: Adam and Morgan have gotten hate mail for slamming DBZ, Inuyasha and Naruto, which I think is really funny.

Finally, because no profile is complete without quotes:

(I’m pretending I’m Yuna who is summoning Ifrit)”Come to me my flaming demon from the nether region!"

(Me)”Matt, Koopa Kid’s trying to kill me. All his balls keep coming towards me!” (Matt)”Jennifer, never say that again.”

(Me)”You know, Gaara would have more friends if he stopped killing people.”

(Matt)”God, you’re so mean to me!” (Me)”Oh, shut up already! Quit complaining!” (Matt)”You’re so cruel! Why can’t I quit you?!”

(Me)”I’m actually printing out some more pictures for my wonderful wall collage.” (Matt)”Oh my God, those poor trees.” (Me)”Shut up!” (Matt)”And what makes it even worse is that today is Earth Day.”

(Final Fantasy VIII-Rinoa talking about Squall’s ring)”You know Zell said he’ll make me one exactly like it. Who knows, maybe I can become like a lion, too. That’d be crazy, huh?! I mean, everyone might, y’know, get the wrong idea about us.” (Squall)’If it’s so crazy, why do you sound so delighted? Everyone is trying to get us together. It’s so obvious even I can tell.’ “You sound like you want everyone to get the wrong idea.” (Rinoa)”No-no-no-no-no!”

(Matt, Joey, Nick, and I are talking about Brokeback Mountain-Matt)”You know that it’s about gay cowboys, right?” (Me)”Really? Sweet!” (Nick)”I’ll watch it with you, and defend them. They’re not gay, they’re just curious!”

(Thomas Jefferson from Fairly Odd Patents)”I’ll amend…your face!”

(Jerry and Elaine talking about Kramer’s girlfriend-Jerry)”I believe I said, ‘How come no one’s killed her?’”

(Maria from Xenogears)”I’m coming Solaris! Seibzehn and I shall be the dark wings which carry you all to your deaths!”

(From Final Fantasy: Tactics my character Jayden using a Samurai attack)”Evil souls of the dark, gather here…Koutetsu!”

(From Final Fantasy: Tactics my White Mage Kristen using the spell Holy)”Pure light, shine on bloody impurity! Holy!”

(Adam Sessler from X-Play talking about a bad review he and Morgan gave Dragonball Z: Saga)”So bring on the poorly spelled hate mail. And for the love of God, use Spell Check!”

(Nick playing Resident Evil 4-He shoots Louis, who than shoots Leon and kills him-Nick)”Oh no, bullets! My one weakness! How did you know?!”

(Jason talking about World War I)” France should have been blamed for the war, not Germany. You know why there’s no French history class? Because it would be boring, and there’s nothing to talk about.”

(Announcer talking about David Ortiz’s line drive)”Manny’s running for his life trying to get out of the way.”

(We’re talking about video games-Nick)”Video games don’t kill people. I kill people. Sometimes in video games.”

(After I touched my friend's leg-he starts to kick me back but stops before he touches me)”I want to but I can’t! Curse societal boundaries!”

(Dane Cook talking about how when you feel like you’re drowning in the pool you always seem to surface under the kid on the raft)”Jesus Christ Timmy! Do not float above me when I’m dying in the abyss!”

(Fairly Odd Parents-Norm the genie)”Now to distract Jorgen!”(He poofs a rope in front of Jorgen-Jorgen)”Rope! It is like string only manlier!”

(Matt talking about Hey There Delilah)”For the sake of the song, I hope it ended badly.”

(Mark Chang, Fairly Odd Parents, talking to Timmy, who is making a strange face)”What's with the face? It is happy. Yet at the same time disturbing.”

(Christian from Best Week Ever after David Cook styles his hair)”Wow! You're the coolest person I've ever met!” (David Cook whispers in Christian's ear)”I believe you.”

(The ESPN announcer as Papelbon pitches to Abreu)”Papelbon gives him the evil stare.”

(Nick while playing Guitar Hero to an Ozzy Osborne song)”Fuck you Ozzy! My thumbs hurt!”

HK-47: Translation: 98 percent probability that members of the miniature organic's tribe are being held by Sand People, master. Doubtless he wishes assistance. You: What about the other 2? HK-47: Translation: 2 percent probability that the miniature organic is simply looking for trouble and needs to be blasted. That may be wishful thinking on my part, master.

(After my friend sneezes)”Bless you! Oh wait; maybe I shouldn’t say that, what with your lack of religion and all.” (My friend)”It burns!”

(My math teacher)”How long does it take for the ball to hit the ground if someone misses the ball?” (A student)Who cares?” (My math teacher)”Who cares is not acceptable.”

(Me)”So how long does the Naruto/Sasuke fight last anyway? Six chapters?” (Matt)”God, it lasts like, twelve billion chapters.”

(Yuna from FFX-2 thinking about Tidus)”Wherever I go my memories are tied to Spira. Memories of you.”(Later)”these are our memories. Yours and mine. But…I don’t think I’m ready to let them be memories yet.”

In Conclusion:

I love the Boston Red Sox! Make fun and/or diss them and I shall strangle you. Or force you to watch the 2004 ALCS(For all you Yankee fans)or the 2004 World Series over and over until you go insane
