In a world where warlocks have risen up and taken over the Shadow World, Nephilim are second-class citizens. They are used to get rid of pesky demons and entertain warlocks. Magnus Bane finds the whole Nephilim business distasteful, but would rather not involve himself in politics. His life takes an interesting turn when he's given a Shadowhunter named Alec Lightwood. (Malec AU)

Alec heads to Magnus' apartment after a hunt, but realizes when he gets there 1) it is the middle of the night 2) Magnus is not expecting him and 3) he has never spent the night before. Alec begins to panic but Magnus settles his fears. (I now understand why so many people put "Sorry I suck at summaries" in their summaries. Sorry.)

Alec sat up, grabbed a tissue, and blew his nose. "Heal me?" The warlock shook his head. "It doesn't work like that. You have a cold, a pretty nasty one from the looks of it, and the best thing to do is just let it run its course." / Alec is sick for three days, and Magnus is there to help him get better.

After the subway split, Alec learns that he is pregnant with the warlock's child. Will he tell him and be taken back, or will he be sent away? Would he even tell the warlock, after all, he was told to never contact the warlock again? Unfortunately I own nothing here other than the plot bunny

Sequel to Payment. When Magnus told him "In nine or ten years, come find me and then we'll talk," he probably hadn't meant "Nearly get yourself killed by a Greater Demon so I have to heal you again." Alec was better at this when he was nine.

How I think Magnus and Alec's first date went. It's probably really sloppy as it just came to my head and I wrote it in just an hour or so.

AU/AH. Alec meets a boy in Central Park, and decides to let him into his castle. What he didn't know was that he was also letting him into his heart. Magnus thought he made a friend that day, but he didn't know how hard he'd have to fight to keep him.
