I wanted to share my take on some of the little known as well as the popular characters in the series. Some character development was needed for the little utilized, but fascinating heroes and villains.

New Stories:

'Palpatine's Journey': Drama (Path to Sithhood, women, and power) This saga covers several years. It begins with Palpatine as a young, ambitious university student who finds the path to Sithdom carries more power than following in his father's footsteps.

Comment: There is much left to interpretation in the SW backstory of many of its characters and even the SW storyline. I have therefore applied my theories of what could have happened to the main character in Palpatine's Journey and the secret goings on of the Sith followers. They may not have been public but they were moving amongst the general populations in the galaxy. If any of my readers (anonymous posters too) believe the Sith were not active 100-60 years BBY I would point out to them that there exists evidence to the contrary and invite fair discussion of same.

5 March 2010 - This is a saga of the turn of events in Palpatine's young life. Yes, there are the obligatory dark moments but there are also some lighter moments intertwined with his frustrations of wanting to be admired and respected. A turn of events brings him closer to the Dark Side and his 'quiet' demeanor masks a most calculating persona.

AE: VK Redux': Comedy (featurring Leia, Anakin and Threepio - Ani confronts an (almost) empty nest and becoming a grandfather ('I'm too beautiful to be a grandparent!'). Misunderstandings and chaos ensues when the self-pitying and clueless Dark Lord intrudes on other people's lives. Does he learn any valuable lessons? What do you think?

17 June 2016 - Chapter 49 AEREDUX is available for Read & Review - In this chapter: After a humorously tragic workplace accident, Anakin has to make funeral arrangements. The entire galaxy is celebrating with the exception of the Dark Lord. Someone is able to sum it up for him but others close to him have some "spirited" thoughts on death and dying as the funeral day draws near.

27 August 2008 - NEWS: Working on new story. This one will be a drama set in Naboo During the 'Golden Age of the Republic'...Pre-Empire. Will tell you more later but I believe this will be an interesting spin on how certain people and events almost destroyed a galaxy.

Children Divided: A Young Father’s Struggle from the Dark

This story is about discovery, understanding and forgiveness as Darth Vader begins the process of shedding the ‘mask’ and revealing a flawed but loving father to his twins Luke and Leia. It is actually a ‘Prequel’ to “Vader’s Kids” and hopefully explains the struggle that makes this family dynamic work. It starts out dark but, like its central figure, there is a ray of light that helps us to see the Anakin Skywalker re-emerge, as he fights for his family and his very soul.

This is my first submission to fanfiction. I was referred to the site by an acquaintance. Since this time I have written quite a bit of material but have yet to configure it to a story fomat. If I continue writing on this topic, I will have serveral stories and other fun stuff to read.

This first entry actually began as a piece I had written as a response to a question posed by a friend: 'What sort of father would Darth Vader be?' After viewing the films and analyzing the characters I came up with my idea of what this family unit would be like but I didn't want the entire story to be full of slapstick and pranks and I didn't want it to be totally dark. I wanted to explore the real happy and sad aspects of raising a family as a single parent. This family was in crisis but there were also moments of great tenderness, joy...and yes...hilarity.

I hope you’re enjoying this humorous and sometimes touching space ride through the Galaxy that is 'Vader's Kids'
