 Author has written 14 stories for Fairy Tales, Misc. Books, Diana Wynne Jones, Reboot, Young Justice, and Batman. OMg, Young Justice was renewed for another season and let me tell you a story: my friend texted me this information with no warning or preamble and the rush of emotions I felt was so overwhelming that I had to run to the bathroom at work where I then slid down the wall silently screaming in joy. Little Saucepan I'm very excited because Little Saucepan has been translated into Russian by Em.Darcy! You can check it out here: ficbook. net /readfic/4281792 (remove spaces) So, Fanfiction would not let me put up the links to my sources for my recent fic, Little Saucepan, within the story. So here they are below, verbatim as I wrote them in the fic itself: For this little story, I did a bit of research into both the song “Sosban Fach” and rugby as a sport, neither of which I knew very much about. “Sosban Fach” is, of course, Calcifer’s “silly little saucepan song” from Howl’s Moving Castle. When I first looked it up, I was just about as puzzled as Sophie was in the beginning of this story. The lyrics didn’t make any sense to me! But after some careful googling, I came upon a few resources that helped explain it to me. The first was this article (https:///tag/sosban-fach/) where the author explains a bit about the meaning of “Sosban Fach,” which really helped me understand the song better. The Wikipedia entry (http:///wiki/Sosban_Fach ) for “Sosban Fach” is also rather useful and gives a rough translation into English. As for the regimental goat, that was something I stumbled upon while researching “Sosban Fach” and couldn’t resist borrowing. Read this article for the story…it’s pretty funny! https:///tag/sospan-fach/ Upon researching the regimental goat further, I found out one of the current goats is named Shenkin and that Shenkin is the Welsh version of Jenkins! According to Wikipedia, (http:///wiki/Military_mascot) the goat wasn’t actually called Shenkin until about 1994, which, assuming Howl’s Moving Castle takes place in the 1980s when the book was written, would be after this visit to Wales…but the opportunity was too good to pass up!
