Let's see.. I am 27 years old, still struggling through the wasteland between college and the rest of my life. I'm working as a quality control analyst in a biotech company, which is not exactly what I want to be doing, but at least it pays the bills. Some of them, anyway. My other hobby, besides writing, is baking. I love to make cookies, cakes, pies, brittle.. and my fiance loves to eat all of that, so we make a good team. I have the two most adorable kitties on earth, Sasha and Nemo, both of whom I spoil rotten.

I mostly write L.J. Smith fan fiction. I happened upon The Forbidden Game: Collector's Edition in a store when I was 15 and decided that I would read it because Julian was a sexy name. But after the first page I was hooked. All of my work thus far is based on The Night World theme, but most of the characters are my own.

Updates..

27Jun08: Okay, I lied. I tried to put Trial By Fire aside, and I just couldn't. The characters just wouldn't leave me alone. So the first chapter is posted on Fiction Press. I think I'll be taking that story a little slow, because I do want to work on Reckoning as well. I need a fun story to balance out TBF. Anyway, please read! :)

04June08: Ah ha! My new fanfic finally has a title: Reckoning. I will be starting the prologue soon!

24Apr08: After a lot of thought, I've decided to put my original story, Trial By Fire, on hold indefinitely. I tried to write it.. and I just can't. It's too dark and I'm too close to it. And it's just not fun to write. So I'm going back to revising Haunted. I have a lot of changes in mind, some restructuring and a few new scenes, so the next update will probably be several chapters at once.

A few people have asked if I have any plans to write a sequel to UIS, and the answer is yes. I don't have a title yet, and my ideas are sketchy at best at the moment, but I can tell you that it will most likely take place about twenty years after UIS, in the aftermath of the war between the Night World and Circle Daybreak. Aiden will be playing a huge role, as will his reborn soulmate. But trust me, it's not going to be a simple lovey-dovey reunion, because that just wouldn't be fun. ;)
