About Me

I enjoy writing, I enjoy anime, so it's a given that writing anime in a fan-fictional aspect is something I would find fun to do. If I had half the time I used to (ala when I was a kid) I'd probably be a prolific writer on this site who's pumped out over 50 stories...but lol, as an adult work and responsibility take away nearly 75 percent of my free time leaving me tired and not atune to work on story projects like I used to even in that 25 percent window of free time. Anyhow, that aside, my goal in my stories is to mislead the readers, because I believe that if the reader totally understands everything about what I'm writing about... then I'm not doing my job. As you'll definitely see in my only completed work, Neon Genesis Evangelion: An Alternate Retelling. According to rumor there was supposed to be a "True Ending" to that story that never seemed to get completed...hmm, I wonder where that rumor came from? lol

One thing I really have in complaints with a lot of mecha anime is the lack of female main characters who remain solid from start to finish. The constant lead male pilots saving the day is old and tired, and as one who is totally inamoured with women in almost every way, I tend to empower the female characters in my stories and place an importance on their characters more so than the men.
