Stories Estranged Memories : In this story, both Hermione and Tom Riddle are widely different then what others might portray them as. So if they seem a bit out of character, you know why. I don't like the way that Hermione is described in the books. She's far too emotional, too bossy, and less presumptuous for my liking. In the books, she still reminds me too buch of the bookwormish stuck up know-it-all we were introduced to in the first one, qualities that, I daresay, should have diminished over time. Due to the circumstances that the Trio are constantly thrown up against, it is my belief that by this time she would have blossomed into the daring young woman that I picture her to be. It does not help that they chose Emma Watson to play her in the movies. Due to this, many picture her as Emma Watson and that is not who she is at all. Emma is a disgrace to the role of Hermione in my opinion and if you're against this, then I don't care. It's my opinion, I'm voicing it. I think she's an absolute, positive disgrace to the role of Hermione which is mostly why I dislike the movies greatly due to the fact that Hermione is and remains one of my favorite characters from the book. Tom Riddle, though, is described in the books perfectly well and this image that JK Rowling gives out to us about him, is exactly what I intend to work off and develop him off. He isn't going to be a person who sticks to himself and is overall non social. But I won't reveal anything further outside of the fact, that in the one flashback scene when Dumbledore delivered his Hogwarts letter to him, I refuse to base my version of Tom off of that. In my mind, the way I first began to picture him after the second book, Riddle is too far above stealing and even at that age, he believed himself to be. One thing that I think all can agree on is that Riddle is far too sophisticated to have at one point in his life, even at such a young age, to have resulted in stealing. Because it's my belief that, once more, he was highly aware of the fact that he was different because otherwise, why else would he have distanced himself from the others and been the source of their bullying? It's obvious that Riddle is the type of person that lies down for no one and changes for no one.And that iswhere I shall stop for fear of getting out of hand. But both might be out of character due tothe way that I see them so warning to all of you who dare to read this story and who view my profile, they shall be out of soon as the story is furthered farther, I shall add more explanation here but for now, I shall leaveyou with this to dwell on. And also, the inspiration for this story mostly came from the positively brilliant piece of work that Lady Moonglow has created entitled Have You Ever. !i!i!i!i!i!
